I’m very cautious with my X5, so it took awhile to gain my trust. I honestly feel this dealership has earned it. Dakotah is always honest, realistic with service expectations, and tries to work with your budget. No pushy service/sales tactics. I love how I can communicate with Dakotah in an instant- via text about all of my service needs. He’s always attentive, detailed, accommodating, and pleasant! He doesn’t talk over you and he listens to all your concerns. He makes sure a courtesy loaner is available for you, if necessary. Overall, it may cost a bit more than the indys, but the convenience, honest service, and smiling faces at BMW of Catonsville make it worthwhile. More

Exceptional Service I initially took my car in for service at NorthWest BMW because my driver window would not roll up. I also asked my service manager to check for a pulling feeling I felt when accelerating. My car was being serviced for an entire month and repairs were placed that I did not approve and or have issues with. When I went to pick my car up I wasn't pleased with how I was treated pertaining to my loaner and the amount I had to pay. When I left and went home to only start my car back up, I heard a loud noise. I instantly took it back to the dealership for my service advisor, Sales manager and Parts manager to listen to the noise to say it was completely fine. They said oh it's probably because you are going from the 2016 X6 loaner truck back to my 2012 X6 truck that was older. They said it was completely fine and a much stronger starter. I said that it didn't sound normal and went and got several second opinions. Everyone that listened, even from BMW NorthWest Collinison manager, said it don't sound right either and to take it somewhere else to get another diagnostic. So because they felt nothing was wrong with my truck or would check too see if anything was wrong, it pushed me to go somewhere else. I went to Catonsville BMW and met service advisor Brittany Hill. I explained to her what was goin on and she heard the noise as well. Parts identified 2 cracks in my brand new starter that had been worked on for an entire month. Brittany took care of everything that needed to be redone. She went over and beyond and gave exceptional service. She was patient with me through my frustrations. I left the dealership today as a satisfied customer felling stress free. Brittany has gained a new customer from here on out. I highly recommend anyone that go to Catonsville to ask for Brittany when they arrive to service. Great Job is all I can say. More

TOP NOTCH SERVICE DEPARTMENT I recently purchased a used BMW 2014 428xi in another state and heard great reviews on this dealerships service department from a friend. This place I recently purchased a used BMW 2014 428xi in another state and heard great reviews on this dealerships service department from a friend. This place not only lived up to the hype it also shows in the customers that get the cars serviced here. First off, my service advisor Keon Tobin noticed that I was standing in line and made sure I was being help. I told him that I needed a Maryland Inspection and my horn periodically works. He immediately got to work on it and put me in a loaner which came to a surprise to me because I also have an Infiniti QX60 and their service department are usually anal about giving loaners out. Not only did Catonsville BMW give me a choice as to what loaner I wanted which I didn't mind at all, they put me in a new 2017 X3 with only 14miles and told me that they value and prioritize their customers. I believe that all dealership GM's should take notice because customer service from lot attendants all the way from the service department, show room and managers makes a difference and people know when its fake! Back to my inspection the mechanics found brake issues with the vehicle which I had no idea existed and when Keon told me this I instantly got my "How much is this going to cost me face" However, Keon went the extra mile and told me not to worry he was able to get the repairs done under the factory warranty and ensured me that we will get the car passed with flying colors for the inspection which it did. I cannot express how much quality customer service plays a major role especially in todays world. You are greeted with employees here that smile at you and ask if you need anything. Also customers here love this place. They don't have the usual disturb looked like how much longer do I have to be here or my car isn't done right face. Its great! More
Very Disappointed I've taken my car to BMW of Catonsville a few times. They have been very responsive and this last visit was no exception. Unfortunately, the results w I've taken my car to BMW of Catonsville a few times. They have been very responsive and this last visit was no exception. Unfortunately, the results were not acceptable. The tech recommended $16,000 in repairs with ~$7500 of them critical. I took the car to a professional and well regarded independent shop. The independent shop did a detailed and thorough inspection. They called me and said several of the items on the report from BMW of Catonsville simply were not problems. This included wiper blades, "dirty air filter", transfer case, and on and on and on. The actual problem turned out to be the battery. The BMW battery in my X5 was not resisted to my car and it was the wrong type of BMW battery. The independent put in the correct battery, registered it, and test drove the car multiple times to see if any problems came up. The car works fine. I'm not quite sure what the problem is with the service department. I'm really disappointed. More
