My frustration is why does it have to get to this to get to speak to someone? I tried reaching out to a service manager but kept getting swept under the rug. So, I did what I needed to do to protect myself as a consumer. And then what happens? I get a credit for the $189. paid BMW of Freeport to do the repair and I take my review down and this never happened? Business goes on and no one is held responsible for the fraudulent acts and it's like it never happened? What about what the money spent to fix the botched service, Or the day I spent at the tire shop and all the running back and forth? Or even the liability risk of having someone else fix the damage, it could have easily snowballed into a bigger issue. And what about the issues prior to this? I purchased a platinum extended service contract for my vehicle from BMW and I must fight with you to have my horn repaired that works intermittently? My door was scratched during a maintenance visit and I let that go. When I purchased my car, my name was documented incorrectly and I had to come back and have everything drafted over again, I was sole the car with wheel locks and no key. My Connected drive went out for over 6 months and for the first 3 months I was told "there was a system upgrade that knocked out functionality to some users and there was no ETA of when it would be restored". Then I finally get someone who wants to look at my vehicle then you replace some control module and it's restored. So, you tell me why I should feel comfortable to bring my vehicle to BMW of Freeport again for service? But first off I'd like someone to explain to me why I was charged and sent away with a broken and stripped wheel lock and lied to by the service advisor and told "My key was chewed up some but the tech was able to remove them easily". Obviously not if I now have 2 different wheel lock keys in good condition and there was still a broken lock on my vehicle.
