Mislead! I thought I was getting a great deal. What I got was a vehicle that was under a law suit because of the engine oil use. Two weeks after I purchased th I thought I was getting a great deal. What I got was a vehicle that was under a law suit because of the engine oil use. Two weeks after I purchased the car. I called BMW of Hudson Valley concern on how much oil the car was using from just a 1000 miles of driving. David directed me to the service dept and they told me to change the oil and monitor it. So I did. In 2000 miles the car used 3 qts of oil. I only found out about the law suit because there was a recall on the airbag system and I had to bring the car to my local BMW dealership.The car only went 3300 miles since I purchased it. They told me that the oil use was from bad valve seals and it would need to be fixed. I would of thought that BMW of Hudson would of contacted me knowing that they sold me a car in a law suit. I have emailed David telling him of what was going on with the X5 and if I knew of the law suit I would have never bought the car. As of today, I still haven't heard back from David. BMW did pay for the repairs, but I still have to worry about future issues with the car. Not good! Thanks again Best Chet S More
