I was approached by Michael, a saleman at Desert BMW, at about 5:35 P.M., Saturday evening 7-14-07. It was my wifes birthday, and I was interested in purchasing a new 3 series. I asked if they had the NEW about 5:35 P.M., Saturday evening 7-14-07. It was my wifes birthday, and I was interested in purchasing a new 3 series. I asked if they had the NEW 3 series on hand. He acted as if I was bothering him, and asked which 3 series I was interested in. I was of the opinion there was only a coupe available, but said any one. He again asked distainfully asked which model I was interested in. As he was asking me this, he turned partially away from me and started to walk away. I indicated that he would hear from me later, this letter being that hearing. I'm of the opinion I should let the owner or supervisor why I'm not interested in their company. I had to leave my car there after an accident on the I-15 freeway. Got rear ended by 2 cars. <br><br>The quality of work was awful!! It looked fixed from the outside, but they messed up my trunk frame and made it extremely difficult to pop in/out the inside lid of the right tail light. As a matter of fact, it was not popped in at all when I received it. Drove all the way to LA with one "missing" tail light. <br><br>The rear bumper was not properly secured, so the edge was pointing out slightly on one side. Took the car to a couple of shops in LA, none of them wanted to handle it. Everyone recommended me to bring it back while the warranty is still valid.<br><br>Oh, BTW, they STOLE my f#$%ing screwdriver from the trunk and left GREASE marks all over the place, on my grey interior. <br><br>Called the service manager, at least once everyday. They must've had a caller ID because I always hit the answering machine. In total, I called them 20+ times and always left a message. I finally got a hold of him by contacting the general manager first.<br><br>Drove 400 miles, drop it in, had to talk to a nasty & rude B!%$#, uh, I mean, receptionist. The service guy was nice, though. Smiled and quickly tightened the clip.<br><br>It was good for about 7 months. It's been 2 years since the accident, and I have to look at my flawed bumper everyday. Was looking to purchase 03' 325i and found a few cars that were of interest. The sales person who approached me only handed me the keys and left me be while he tried to find a key to a car I wanted to te that were of interest. After looking at three cars, he still was looking for a key and did not stop to talk to me about the car or answer questions. I finally decided to buy my car at the BMW dealership in the Valley Auto Mall. That didn't work out too well either, since they basically had no competition for their prices and killed me on my trade in. California dealerships are the way to go. More
