This was my first BMW experience. From first meeting until delivery, my expectations were exceeded. Basel was our sales person. Overall, things improved from a tough beginning. My expectations were very different for what occurred based on past service experiences with less expensive cars. My biggest concern was that I was not prepared to have a loaner car overnight and return it early the next day. No one had ever discussed in advance that this could very well be the case. I also did not know that I had an option to have someone bring a loaner car to my home. I found out about this after my visit. Fortunately, my concerns were heard by a service representative who was able to get my car completed by 4:30 PM. This was a huge relief as I had been used to bringing previous vehicle in, waiting about an hour and leaving. I was not aware of the more intensive service checks that German cars require. I also don't think people should receive robot text messages from people who aren't even working in the department as I thought my concerns were being ignored since that person wasn't there to answer me. Finally, by phoning into the department, I was able to talk with someone who addressed my concerns and was very helpful. More
