Hi Jim, I get it about having no control over the card, it was more the unhelpful attitude I initially received when trying to use it. The response was simply 'oh, you can't use that card for "discounted" services. What?? In the end the card simply had to be run for the $100 amount of the reward it's not that difficult, and not the first time this has happened there. I've had all kinds of 'Reward cards' from many merchants, and have never had this trouble anywhere except there. Maybe a 5-minute instruction to the staff about these cards would save a lot of time and grief for all concerned.
