On January 26, 2023, Mr. Stevens purchased the vehicle and was provided with a temporary registration plate. You agreed not only to submit the certificate of title to New Jer Stevens purchased the vehicle and was provided with a temporary registration plate. You agreed not only to submit the certificate of title to New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission ("MVC") but to also obtain permanent registration tags. Despite numerous requests and follow-up from our client, the temporary tags expired and you failed to obtain permanent registration tags. The certificate of title is still not submitted with the MVC. As a direct and foreseeable outcome of your conduct, our client is unable to utilize his motor vehicle for business and pleasure. As result, our client has suffered and continues to accrue pecuniary damages. As our client is unable to utilize the vehicle. Mr. Stevens may pursue legal action arising out of breach of duties in failing to submit title and registration documents, as well as for selling a vehicle with a potential title defect. In that lawsuit, our client will seek legal and equitable remedies against you, such as, but not limited to, monetary damages, injunctive relief, and attorneys’ fees and costs. On December 29th I took delivery of a new BMW 330e. Up until it was time to meet the finance manager assigned to complete the purchase everything had gone exceptionally well. Instead of making sure I had ALL of the papers I needed to register my car in Massachusetts there was far more interest in selling me add-ons. So, when I left the dealer I was unaware that I was not provided with every document I needed to register the car. Since Massachusetts requires registration within 7 days of purchase I could not drive my new car for close to a week while waiting for the proper papers. When I called the salesman he was out with no message, I asked for the manager who said they should have known but the person that could provide the papers had left for the day (more delays), asked for the Certificate of Origin to be dated on the date of signing so I could drive the car which fell on deaf ears. Left messages for the manager - no return call, Left messages for the General Manager - no return call to this day, left messages for the parent company - no return calls or correspondence to this day. All-in-all, they're happy to sell a car by untrained sales and support personnel and don't really care!!! More
