These guys (and gal!) at BMW of San Rafael are great. It's refreshing to work with competent folks and it's evident in all directions here. Tom was friendly, efficient and nice during my service visit today and extra points for being a racer. Vroom vroom. :) Also, the waiting room is slick, almost nicer than my apartment. It's so clean, one could literally eat off the floor.

Rommel was extremely helpful. He explains things so that it’s easy to understand. And, he makes you feel good about the question you ask him.

If you want to come out feeling like absolute trash, this is your place! The term customer service seems to have a different definition there as I ended up in tears after a two minute conversation with Tim Price. His tone made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. In the end I told him I would like to get my service at another location and he replied with a classy “you should definitely do that.” I spoke with the manager and he helped me get a courtesy car so I could get out of the dealership ASAP. I did not know that I needed to specify that I had a check engine light in addition to general service being needed. I thought they were the same thing. Be sure to be as specific as possible when you go in or else you will need to make multiple trips which is extremely time consuming and they will blame you for it all. If you find yourself here, beware of the disparity in quality among the employees. I was not shown the consistent quality of service that I expect from a BMW service center which is disappointing to say the least.

We met Jacqui through getting our BMW X5 serviced. Since working with her for over 2 years, she has proven herself to provide exceptional service in every area ! She is clear, honest, reliable, personable with a strong attention to detail. This meant so much to us as we left the last BMW dealership in search of these qualities in the Service Dept. We chose BMW of San Rafael because of Jacqui. We highly recommend this dealership for Jacqui and it's service.

Tom Smith has been my service advisor for more than a decade. He is the best in the business in every way - knowledgeable, attentive to detail, cordial, engaged, consistent.

Came in to have some minor work completed on a new X3 including desling with an ugly scratch on the front bumper. Looks much better. Easy to schedule and the technician was flexible with the timing.

Buying and Driving a BMW is only half the experience.The exceptional service from BMW of San Rafael and in particular Tom Smith is what makes BMW perfection. I've owned BMW's for 11 years and had excellent service advisors. However, Tom Smith raises the bar above any car service any where. Thanks Tom for taking outstanding care of me and my M4. Used them and their previous named companies for 40 years. Outstanding service. Everything explained, car on time, came back not just cleaned but detailed, terrific loaner, courteous and knowledgeable staff. Why go anywhere else for BMW service?
