I live in Rockville, but sought out Nan Wong and found her at BMW Silver Spring. She was formerly in VOB and previously sold me my last 2 BMWs. My past experiences with Nan were so great that I went out of my way to find her and I was not disappointed! She called me back immediately the night I left her a voicemail. I explained to her my situation and the model of BMW I was looking to replace for my existing BMW trade-in. The next morning I came to the dealership and she, and her associate Steve Mueller, were prepared for me. I had a new car in a matter of hours. They are the best! The entire experience was exemplary - from the beautiful showroom, to the courteous and knowledgeable staff, to the deal we made for the trade-in. Nan listened to what I needed and had a few vehicle options that fit the bill waiting for me. There was zero pushy salesmanship, or trying to sell me something I did not want or need. Nan and Steve took great time and care to answer all my questions. My new car needed to have the nav system replaced. BMW Silver Spring delivered the BMW loaner to my work and picked up my car from me. This is a wonderful service and I greatly appreciated it with my busy work/kid schedule. When you purchase a new car you want to be treated as a person and not a paycheck for the salerperson. First, I would like to say that I love my BMW. It's my first BMW and probably won't be my last. I was the in the market to purchase a BMW and was going to go great lengths to get one. I was originally set to purchase a BMW in Atlanta, GA and was going to fly down, purchase it and drive it 10 hours back home but that deal fell short of let's just say they sold it while I was negotiating a deal. Nevertheless, I had to start over with my search for CPO BMWs on www.bmwusa.com. The first one I came across was Silver Spring BMW. I saw the car I was looking for and the person to contact was Rick Lopez. I explained to Rick my situation and he felt really bad about my situation. He told me that they are very reputable, will take care of customers and have the testimonials as proof. Rick was very professional and provided excellent customer service over the phone. I googled Rick Lopez and found him in dealerrater.com and was impressed with what his past customers had written about him. It was late at night so Rick promised that he would email me a great deal on the car. I didn't expect to see an email right away but within minutes I received an email from Jacob Raykhel with a quote that I simply could not pass up. Since I was already pre-approved with BMW, Jacob even provided 3 options for monthly payments and the rates. Something I didn't ask about but it helped me decide if this really was the right car for me. Since it was late that evening, I decided to wait until the next day to contact Rick and Jacob about more information about the car. The next day, I told them that I would like to see a video of the vehicle. Not only did they provide video but also provided still pictures of the car. I specifically asked if they can provide audio so that I can hear how the engine sounds like. Trust me; listening to a car can make a big difference in purchasing one. In my eyes, Rick and Jacob went above and beyond customer service. I told them I want the car and will fly in to purchase it. Prior to flying in to Silver Spring, I was also contacted by Joanna McCarthy (Finance Manager, by the way fellas, she's a pretty young woman) and she was helpful in preparing all of my paperwork via email, filling them all out (which cut down the paperwork at the dealership), and she provided my payment options. She was very professional and top notch with customer service. I wasn't sure what my next steps were because I didn't have family in Maryland nor did I want a friend to have to drive 4 hours to get to the dealership and then drive back. I told them I planned on flying in and Jacob said that he would pick me up from the airport. That was a relief because I didn't have to worry about finding a way to get to the dealership from the airport. Again they were extremely helpful. The day I flew in, I texted Jacob when the plane landed, as we already planned the day before. I'm not exaggerating this one bit, but it seemed like it was perfect timing, as I was walking out of the baggage claim area, Jacob called to find out where I was at. I saw him through the sliding glass door and I told him I see him, what a relief because I was sure that I was going to wait around for him until he got there. Once again, perfect customer service. He has a convertible MR2 Spyder and it was fun to ride in since I've never been in a convertible before. I hopped in his car and we were off to the dealership. Jacob offered me drinks and snacks as soon as we got there. When I purchased used vehicles in the past, I did not get a biography about the vehicle. The biography contained all of the maintenance records, carfax report, and without going into great detail, it had everything you needed to know about the car. We carefully reviewed all of the necessary information regarding the CPO BMW and then I got to finally see my car. It was in great shape as I hoped it would and it sounded great. I was able to test drive it and let me tell you, the feeling of driving a BMW is 2nd to none. I was able to take it on the freeway and feel the power of the 300 hp twin turbo-charged engine. I was sold from the beginning but the test drive sealed the deal. After the test drive, we got back to the dealership and met Rick. He was very professional and he welcomed me in open arms! Just as I expected from our phone conversation that he would be pleasant to talk to and I felt like I've known him. He wanted to make sure that my flight was good and if I needed anything. He is a great guy and down to earth, someone I would be able to sit and talk to for a while. It was like clockwork because after I chatted with Rick for a bit, I went to see Joanna for the financing part. I didn't even have to wait. That's what I like to see because I wanted to get my car and drive off as soon as possible. Again, Joanna was very professional; we talked about the Olympics and current events while filling out all of the necessary paperwork. She explained the many packages that BMW had for maintenance and she was not pushy with trying to sell me any of the packages. From her explanation alone, I could decide on what I needed without any pressure from her. We laughed and joked around during the entire process and this is the part I never really had fun, but she made it painless. Also since I was out of town, she reminded me about getting insurance for my car. She called my insurance company and gave the information they needed to get my temporary card faxed so that I can be insured while I drove home. It was quick, painless and fun for a change. :) Before leaving the dealership, I sat and chatted with Jacob again. He surprised me with a gift not only for me but also for my 2 daughters. Jacob knew I was a single father raising 2 daughters and he gave them a gift. My kids loved it. Thanks Jacob! I hope this helps others decide to come see Rick, Jacob and Joanna if they are ever in the market to buy a BMW. The price is right, they will go above and beyond and more importantly they will treat you with the utmost respect. It was a pleasure working with you all. I cannot stress how great Mike is, he does not push you into anything or try to bs you to try and sell, he is just very calm and supportive throughout. He is a great guy and a fantastic person to work with to help inform & guide you thru the purchasing options and overall process. In our latest experience with Mike he not only helped us purchase the new vehicle but he also coordinated the dealership's efforts to purchase our trade in vehicle. He made is simple & easy, one stop shopping, dealing with him for all aspects. In addition, Mike spent a great deal of time teaching / showing us how to work/use the various features in the new vehicle. After a bad accident that totalled my car, I was in need of a car ASAP. What first drew me to the BMW of Silver Spring was the price. Nan, our sales person explained that the dealership was out of the way and the only way to get people to come by was to give very competitive pricing because based on the specs I was skeptical that it was so cheap. I was able to get a 2010 528i that is fully loaded with nagivation for less than a 2009 528i with no extra options that I test drove at the Fairfax or the Alexandria dealers! I had a really bad experience buying my Benz and I was very weary of going the used car route again but the BMW experience and customer service could not be beat! The car I was looking at buying had a couple of scratches on it and Nan told me they would take care of it and they did! It was a easy and stress free transaction with Anthony the finance person. Steven was able to answer all of my questions and set me up with a loaner while the scratches were being take out. He even sat me down for 30 minutes to really explain how the car works and all of the buttons since the 528i that I purchased had navigation and alot of buttons which was daunting to me since I'm not super tech savvy. He even gave me his cell phone number so I can easily get ahold of him for questions or to get an update. I DEFINATELY did not have that at the Benz dealership! I was constantly getting voicemails and being transfered and trying to track my service person down to get updates. I feel like I was in good hands the whole time and I am extremely satified with the entire experience and will definately come back and recommend this dealership to all of my friends! More

By far the best BMW dealership in the whole county(s). My experience with Gerry and Nan was very pleasant. They helped me out with the whole process starting for getting the car with right options to financi experience with Gerry and Nan was very pleasant. They are extremely knowledgeable, have a big inventory and they can also customize any car options you would like. I was explained the entire process very well and no other dealership will give you that kind of personal advise and/or accurate information. Best of all, they called my when my car arrived with the right options, the test drive experience itself was superb, they explained me the car and its technologies right from the its making. They gave me bonus equipment too.........for free! Gerard and Nan even explained me the return value of xyz number of years as well and what options can/might sell few years down the line. I had a fun buying experience these guys and will recommend it to anyone I know. More
