I researched Certified Pre-Owned 328i's on the internet, and partly due to the strength of the ratings here on this site, and on advice from BMW message boards, I chose to check out Tischer BMW first, even and partly due to the strength of the ratings here on this site, and on advice from BMW message boards, I chose to check out Tischer BMW first, even though it was a little further away than some of the others in the DC area. I inquired via email about two specific cars, and Sigis Skirpa responded promptly and was very helpful. I made an appointment to stop by and test drive, and Sigis was very personable and low-pressure, and didn't try to push other vehicles or steer me to new purchase instead of CPO, which I have heard of being an issue with some other dealers, who make you feel like a second-class citizen for even inquiring about used vehicles. This was my first BMW purchase and I wasn't sure how the experience would be, but Sigis was a great 'ambassador' - very down-to-earth, patient, and eager to work with me. The specific cars I had requested to test drive were indeed available, and were both exactly as advertised on the Web. I was very pleasantly surprised by the condition of the Certified Pre-Owned cars - they are almost indistinguishable from new vehicles. I wound up purchasing a CPO 2007 328i - the purchase process was very laid back - we negotiated a bit and I got a price I was happy with without a lot of stress. While the usual optional stuff was offered during the closing process, I didn't experience the high-pressure sales and scare tactics I've gotten in past car-buying episodes - it was offered, and if I declined, no pressure was applied - I really appreciated that. After the purchase was complete, Sigis spent a lot of time with me familiarizing me with the functions of the vehicle, which is a big job given that the car is equipped with iDrive, which is like operating the Space Shuttle. But he was very patient and thorough and made sure my questions were answered before I left the lot, and he emphasized that I should not hesitate to contact him with any questions, even down the road - including if I have any service issues that are not resolved to my satisfaction. I dislike the car buying experience generally (I should a very negative review of my experiences with Stohlman VW, for example), and I hate to sound like an ad for Tischer, but their good reputation is well-deserved in my experience - and I recommend looking up Sigis in particular (I didn't deal with anyone else, so I can't speak to the attitudes of the other CAs). Our buying experience with Tischer was very good. After locating the car we wanted online, we handled a lot of the preliminary business over the phone since we are out of state buyers. We discovered some minor issues with the car and could not get them repaired that day as the service center was closed, however they assured us that it was covered by warranty and we had them taken care of once we arrived back in Charlotte. As promised we were sent the entertainment cartridge and extra key within days of our purchase. Our overall buying experince was a positive one and I would like to personally thank Lonnie and Rick for taking such good care of us. More

I spent a year looking at various BMW models before settling on my CPO 2008 535xi. Of the dealers I worked with, Tisher BMW was by far the best. I test drove the care on a weekend, and though we didn't agree on price, Jakob kept in touch. After some careful web research, I made a better offer (though not the asking price) and we came to agreement through a bunch of e-mail exchanges. We traded the paperwork back and forth, since I was out of state for the week. Everything went fine, and Jakob answered all of my questions. What impressed me the most is that he admitted when he didn't know something, went and looked it up, and then followed through with an e-mail answer. When I picked up the car, they got me in and out in less than 2 hours in spite of having moved from one building to another the day before. There was never any pressure applied at all, even in the back room (where you sign the papers). I am very impressed and recommend them highly. More

From the beginning, Lonnie greated me with a smile, offered me a bottled water, he is a great communicator, answered all my questions, knew the product inside and out and taught me the product!! Negotiating with him was honest, fair, easy going experience. I really feel like he helped me get a great deal on a car that I absolutely love. The whole experience with him from the beginning until the time he saw me drive away was a total superior top notch experience. I would highly recommend him to anyone and he deserves the best that life has to offer. He treats people with total respect....and i like and appreciate that very much. I am still on a high about my car. I love it and will love it for years to come. The dealership itself is well lit, clean, the bathrooms are very clean, the finance people were knowledgable and friendly, the manager came over and made sure I was ok and thanked me for my business This dealership and the salesman Lonnie deserve the best rating available. I encountered with Mr. Crawford was via a phone call. He spoke to me as a human being not as a car guy (technical stuff). I was having problem with my ’91 735i. He presented me with several options and/or tricks to try to solve my situation. Even though it was over the phone, I did not feel rushed or “brushed off.” He finally advised me to bring the car to the dealership. Once off the phone, I felt very confident that he knew what he was talking about as if he was standing next to my car. To sum this up, I have a very good experience from the time of inception to picking up my car the very same day. My experience with other dealership was not as pleasant and/or profession. More
My experience with Tischer BMW was pleasant from the start to finish. Jacob was very professional and friendly, he made sure every answers I had got answered. He even made sure I get the insurance done before I leave so that I wouldn't have to drive home nervous that I would wreck my new purchase. :) Even when the deal was done, he spent time outside with me to explain to me all the functions of the car I purchased and made sure I had my navigation set home correctly so that I could drive home safe. He didn't forget to mention "fix all your mirrors and have seatbelt, and drive this BEAUTIFUL car home safe!! Enjoy!" :) :) :) It was my first BMW, I had always wanted the Z-series convertible so when the one I had just purchased came out I had to drive 3 hours to go to Tischer BMW. Not only their review was great but they also proved them to be right. Evelyn was also very pleasant, friendly and funny helping me with the finance options, making sure that I get the best financing option out there possible. I think I laughed throughout the whole time I was in there with her. :) Jacob did not forget to mention "this is your first BMW, you will love it so much that you will not go to another brand!!" It's already becoming my favorite, I LOVE LOVE driving it. THE ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE!! :) Mr. Rick came out and told me I had to have my top down and jam up the music or he won't sell the car to me. :D Ha ha. Weather was PERFECT for that. So I did and I LOVED IT!!!! Also, thank you Mr-Rick for the beautiful pink BMW hat for the 3 hour ride home, my hair did not fly everywhere because of it!! I had a very irritating issue with my Bluetooth. I stopped by Tischer unannounced at lunch time with somewhat of a chip on my shoulder. I truley expected to be pushed aside. Bryan, I believe he is the manager greeted me(WOW)he asked if I needed help. I told him I was having trouble with my bluetooth. He asked me for my keys and phone. He then said lets go, I will show you how to pair your phone. We spent a good 15 minutes in my car pairing the phone, setting up the navigation and radio stations. What makes this truley remarkable is no money exchanged hands. In a time when everyone asks what's in it for me, Bryan did not. I guess I found MY new BMW dealership. More
