If you’re looking for someone who has great knowledge of the brand and models including technology, highly recommend James who combines this with excellent communication before, during, and after the sale. My wife and I have done business with several dealerships in the Hendrick auto family. We have done business with Hendrick Toyota of Cary, Hendrick Chevrolet of Cary, Hendrick Lexus of Charlotte dealerships in the Hendrick auto family. We have done business with Hendrick Toyota of Cary, Hendrick Chevrolet of Cary, Hendrick Lexus of Charlotte, and Hendrick Mercedes in Durham. We may have found Hendrick BMW of Southpoint sooner, but I’m not sure BMW will allow dealerships to put a family name on their sign. I didn’t know Hendrick had a dealership in Durham. After going a couple of days of asking for information and phone calls, trade in information from the Charlotte dealership, I picked up the phone a d called BMW of Southpoint. I must say the receptionist that day was tenacious about finding me a person to talk to. You see, there was a sales meeting going on during my call. However, with the third attempt, a salesman by the name of Jonathan “Chance”’ Sanford picked up the phone and answered the questions I had been asking for two days at the other dealership. We made a car deal in about sixteen minutes. I’m not sure that’s a record but it must be a close contender. I suppose Chance picked up on the fact I was a senior aged customer ,who detests texting and just wanted my questions answered. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable and certainly didn’t waste my time. I’m now the proud owner of a 2026 BMW M430i Convertible. I’m sure Chance must have shown the SOLD sign on the car the next day to the receptionist. . Her tenacity to find a salesman, and finding a salesman who understands a phone has other attributes other than texting was a match. I have another automobile (a Lexus) ordered for my wife due to arrive sometime in December. I hope to get back on the same good footing I had when I bought her last Lexus from Hendrick Lexus of Charlotte. They had a wonderful female manager at the dealership at that time. I made a car deal with her at 4 pm on. Friday afternoon and took delivery on the car the following Tuesday. In closing, Southpoint also has a wonderful, personable and caring manager by the name of Curtis Aldershof. My wife and I had a lovely conversation while waiting to get our car deal approved. Mr. Aldershof represents the Hendrick auto family admirably. I suggest all the Hendricks managers should take a lesson in what a professional manager looks like and acts like. It was a pleasure doing business at Hendrick BMW of Southpoint. BMW should allow the family name on sign. . Just a suggestion! Richard and Lynne Price More
I appreciate this Hendricks group dealership for support after the sale. I bought a used 2022 X5 in 2023 and have counted on the dealership from top to bottom for advice and support on maintaining the vehic after the sale. I have been able to speak with anyone at the dealership from the techs and reps in the service department up to the dealership manager quickly and easily. Even when there has been a misunderstanding, a quick conversation usually gets it resolved to my satisfaction. I'd like to especially call out the support of Alex Kuszajewski in the service department for fielding questions and even going the extra mile now to help now that we have relocated away from NC to a new home in the Northeast. I test drove a vehicle yesterday that I was interested in. Appraised my trade-in vehicle and got final numbers. Informed the dealership I had one other appointment immediately after this appointment down the street and was likely to make a decision that day. The sales rep informed me that a sales associate at the dealership was interested in purchasing the vehicle and I could put a $1000 deposit on the vehicle. While this could have been completely transparent information, from my perspective, it could also seem like sleazy dealership practices to create a false sense of urgency. Went to the other dealership but ultimately decided I wanted to purchase the vehicle from BMW Southpoint. I left BMW Southpoint at 1pm and called the sales rep at 2:50pm informing them I want to purchase the vehicle. I was told their other sales associate was already in the process of purchasing the vehicle as I am sitting in my bank parking lot ready to pay over $30k in cash for this vehicle. Less than two hours after my test drive, the car was sold internally. While I left the dealership without immediately purchasing the vehicle and I am not entitled to any vehicle, there is a clear conflict of interest. The sales associate is afforded an amount of knowledge unavailable to the common customer. Any other interested customer would not receive information that I was likely purchasing that day and that they had to buy it now. Given BMW Southpoint made no real acknowledgment of this conflict of interest and made no effort at restitution, they earned this bad review. Clearly there is a better way to do business. More

What stood out the most was their kindness and honesty. Joshua took the time to explain everything clearly, without pressure, and made sure I understood all my options. It truly felt like they cared more about helping me find the right car than just making a sale. This car was(is) for my 15+ years-old daughter. Her first car also. Which is a very important moment of my life. Thanks to their professionalism and genuine approach, the whole experience was stress-free and enjoyable.
