Worst Dealership! As an existing BMW customer, I went to the BMW of Springfield with the intention of upgrading from an X4 to either an X5 or X6. From the outset, As an existing BMW customer, I went to the BMW of Springfield with the intention of upgrading from an X4 to either an X5 or X6. From the outset, my experience was far from satisfactory. I wanted to test drive both the X6 and the X5. However, my experience with one of the sales representatives was utterly disappointing. His constant unsolicited instructions and interruptions during the test drive made me feel undermined. When I began to reverse the car, he felt the need to instruct me on the "correct" way to do so. On the highway, he cautioned me to be careful with the "brand new car," implying that I wasn't competent enough to handle it, despite my existing ownership of a BMW. I felt this behavior was not only condescending but also verging on disrespectful. It's hard to say whether these interactions had undertones of prejudice, but the humiliation I felt was palpable. In my years of driving and purchasing cars, I have never had such a disheartening test drive experience. It reached a point where I had to cut short the test drive, hand over the car to him, and state that I was done. I understand the importance of taking care of showroom vehicles, but there's a way to communicate that doesn't belittle or disrespect potential buyers. My experience at BMW of Springfield was a stark contrast to the luxury and professionalism I associate with the BMW brand. I hope that no other customer has to undergo such an unpleasant experience at this dealership. More
I have been to several BMW Dealerships (current BMW owner). However, this dealership is by far THE WORST! I purchased a car from them out of state a few days ago. Drove it back home and the next day it owner). However, this dealership is by far THE WORST! I purchased a car from them out of state a few days ago. Drove it back home and the next day it had to go in to the shop at the BMW dealership here. It’s been there for 2 days now with the techs still working on it! Do yourself a favor, save yourself the headache/frustration and venture to another dealership as this one is not worth it! More
