My car wasn’t starting. Suspecting a bad battery, I had my car dropped off at the dealer on a holiday and scheduled an appointment for 7am the following day (Tuesday). Over Suspecting a bad battery, I had my car dropped off at the dealer on a holiday and scheduled an appointment for 7am the following day (Tuesday). Over the course of the next three days, the dealer did a terrible job of communicating with me about the status of my vehicle and did not confirm until late Thursday afternoon that indeed, my battery needed to be replaced. The cost to replace the battery was about $420, including the battery and labor. In recognition of the inconvenience to me of not having my car for almost an entire week, the dealer offered to waive the cost of labor (about $100) and have me cover the battery (apparently, $320). Because there are no other BMW dealers in Tulsa, I didn’t have much choice. I paid almost $350. I highly doubt that the cost of the battery to BMW is $320 but that that reflects a significant markup. This experience causes me to strongly consider whether owning a BMW is worth it. More
I had the absolute pleasure of working with Dan at BMW of Tulsa, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From the moment I walked into the dealership, Dan made me feel like a valued customer rather than ju Tulsa, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From the moment I walked into the dealership, Dan made me feel like a valued customer rather than just another sale. (This is also why this was my 4th purchase from this dealership!) Dan’s knowledge of BMW vehicles is truly impressive - he took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and provided detailed explanations about different models and features without any pressure. His genuine enthusiasm for the brand really shows, and he was patient with all my questions, no matter how detailed. What really set Dan apart was his commitment to making sure I got the best deal possible. He worked diligently with financing and was transparent throughout the entire process. Even after the sale, he followed up to make sure everything was going smoothly with my new BMW. The entire team at BMW of Tulsa clearly takes pride in their work, but Dan’s exceptional customer service made this car-buying experience truly memorable. If you’re considering a BMW, I highly recommend asking for Dan - you won’t be disappointed! More
