Purchased a certified preowned car May 13, 2022. I was told that the car was fine and passed all inspections and provided documents to accompany their supposed accusations. June 15, a little after h I was told that the car was fine and passed all inspections and provided documents to accompany their supposed accusations. June 15, a little after having the car a month I experienced a drive train malfunctioned that disabled all power to the vehicle while in traffic. The car was taken back to the dealership where they diagnosed it with simply needing an update. The car was picked up June 17th. June 21 the car experienced the same drive train issues again but this time the car never was able to restore power again and had to be towed to the dealership. I was shuttled to my residence because according to them because they had no loaners available but they would get back to me by the end of the day with something. On June 22nd Mike the service rep reached out and told me that the car needed a new fuel tank, fuel pump, and Transfer pump. After days of waiting I received a call from Darrell on the 23rd stating that I would not be provided a loaner because of a falsified report from a shuttle driver and that they reserve the right not to provide a loaner. The dealership has left me with no vehicle or assistance with acquiring a vehicle for a car that was purchased from them a month and 10 days ago. On top of the fact that false reports were given to me saying that the car only needed an update to only report to me 6 days later that it needed major repairs. I would not recommend purchasing or taking your vehicle to them for repairs because of false reports being generated. More
This dealership has very recently undergone a major personnel revamp. The new management and sales staff seem lasered in on customer service and satisfaction, which they delivered and we enjoyed tremen personnel revamp. They operate with a Can-Do attitude and are intent on earning your business. They more than earned ours! PS If you're shopping BMW, Matthew, their BMW Genius (Platinum) should make the difference over anywhere you could shop. He translates new tech goodies into usable, valuable, got-to-have improvements in the driving world. You have to experience it to understand it, but take my word: it's worth it!! Many thanks, folks! Poor Service! Lately, BMW lacks communication with customers, lacks the manpower to complete services in a timely manner, and provides poor customer experiences. My check engine light was on. I was told the earliest appointment available was Thursday. I was also told no loaner was available. I was told it would take an hour to diagnose the problem. It took three days to be contacted with a diagnosis. It took almost another week to fix my car. After a day of driving it, the check engine light was on again, As of today, it took BMW, five days to diagnose the problem with no estimation of when my car will be ready. More
I contacted them about a vehicle yesterday and was told it was still available via email(by Payton Jett) and over the phone (by a manager) ...I was approved for financing ! I live 120 miles away,I got up this morning 7am to be at the dealership when they opened being the I had about a 2hour drive from my house to the dealership,I get to Tuscaloosa to the bank in the Walmart parking lot to withdraw my deposit and my gut says check online to make sure it’s still available,I check and the car is gone from all websites so I call the dealership and was told the car sold YESTERDAY! let me be fair the deal on a 2012 BMW 750il was full of twists because financing , finally got financed this occurred on Jan.13,2021. I had the vehicle for about 13 days I drove to the dealership from Birm twists because financing , finally got financed this occurred on Jan.13,2021. I had the vehicle for about 13 days I drove to the dealership from Birmingham on the 26th found out that financing fell through with the Bank, they took the liberty without my permission to run my credit with another bank. Upon speaking with the General Manager he told me that they would take the vehicle back and I agreed but once I agreed then they got angry I put 4,000.00 down I had 1,200 miles on the vehicle with no knowledge of failed financing. The dealership wanted to take 600.00 from me for mileage I refused and had a conservation with the GM I honestly believed that there would not be an issue to get my money back. The GM agreed to refund the entire down payment they kept me waiting for several hours and I still could not get the check I had no way home back to Birmingham I had to call my to come and get me no one offered not even the salesman which I respected. The GM stated that they would overnight the check okay. I called the GM several times to inquire about the refund after the third call , the GM called me back very angry and I asked him the refund I was expecting overnight the GM told me that I was not worth the stamp it would cost him , I almost lost my cool but I did not he stated that I mistreated his people, I did not know what he was talking about but now I have to drive to Tuscaloosa in the morning on a dangerous highway because the GM did not keep his word. I was told by finance that me having to wait was my fault. I served in Vietnam as a marine and I retired as a Deputy Sheriff I will not be mistreated by anyone because I am standing up for what is RIGHT and FAIR. This was my First and Last experience with BMW PERIOD!!!!!!! More
Terrible experience! This dealership had me drive 40 minutes and I spoke with the salesman about 10 minutes prior to arrival only to find that the vehicle I drove in for was being sold to someone else. minutes and I spoke with the salesman about 10 minutes prior to arrival only to find that the vehicle I drove in for was being sold to someone else. FAILURE TO TELL THE TRUTH! I was promised a loaner car by Sean Dwyer after making an appointment over a week in advance for a service appointment. When I arrived for my service, no such arrangement had been made. My reason for confirming a loaner vehicle with Sean Dwyer was because there were important matters I’d planned on handling, rather than remaining idle in a TUSCALOOSA, ALABAMA BMW LOUNGE. When I pressed the issue with the service personnel, the lame excuse received was that since my service was basic and would only take an hour their policy is not to loan a car. That’s not what Sean Dwyer told me when setting up my appointment. Sean lied and the dealership executives at Tuscaloosa BMW appeared to NOT CARE AT ALL. Perhaps this dealership feels my business has no value because my car is still under warranty and no expectation of out of pocket expenses exist. To add insult to injury my wait time was over 2 hours. I’M EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THE DISHONESTY OF IT ALL! More

But this last purchase was exceeded b/c the deal took extra effort to make it work......I thank him and Brad in Finance for getting it done. They listened to my wants/needs and delivered. Mission Accomplished Again!! Everyone at the dealership made me feel welcome. I leased a BMW 5 Series from them in 2014 and everything was great because that transaction was done at their office. However, as I approached the end of my lease in 2017, they started sending me information about their pull-ahead program where they would forgive up to my last 3 payments but the kicker is you have to go back in to a similar vehicle. So my husband and I decided to lease from them again but we are stationed in MD and the transaction took place remotely where they sent me all my papers to sign. Well, I have been going back and forth with this dealership since September so that they can finalize my last 2 payment on the 2014 and close out that account. I was told by the Finance guy, Brad to give it some time as it need to process through the systems and it would reflect that they made those last 2 payment. Here it is December and I finally spoke to Brad again and he said he doesn't have record of me leasing a vehicle from them!!!! Where the xxxx did I get this BMW then???? Needless to say, I have been trying to talk to the General Manager for over a month and he hasn't called me back yet. To add insult to injury, I tried to reach out to my salesperson and he informed me that he had quit working there because the owners and management are extremely UNPROFESSIONAL!!! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! More
BMW of Tuscaloosa SUCKS ! I've begged for approx. 6 months for Donna (service dept) to call me back on the glass break PLUS the painting on my car due to rocks ... I purchas ! However she never calls back! Now I've had a weather issue on April 30th that caused trees to fall on my home and car. The car is totaled and as I've warned you over and over do you think I'm going to purchase a new BMW from you with all that you put me through? I DO expect a full refund on the insurance I purchased for glass break and paint since you never honored this. *** Michael Matthews just called me back from BMW of Tuscaloosa and all he can say is we are under new ownership and I apologize for your exp. yeah that's what I want to hear sounds like yall need to call the airlines (United) on how far that little comment will get you. More
