My 2011 BMW 328cxi with <25k miles developed total electronic system failure. Very scary. Bill Dodge sent a nice guy to pick up the car, replaced the control system, then identified the radio needed electronic system failure. Very scary. Bill Dodge sent a nice guy to pick up the car, replaced the control system, then identified the radio needed replacement, then another part associated with the radio.....this took a full week. When i got my car back, a warning light for SOS came on, which turned out to be the BMW emergency assist program which wasn't working. Multiple phone calls, promises to fix in my garage, trip back to the dealership and another entire week later, I return to Maine from a business trip to find that my car isn't fixed and neither Ron nor Steve Crossman seems to think it's a serious issue that I haven't had my car for 2 weeks. They are happy to give me another loaner, and say the SOS system needs to be turned on by BMW and then I can test it..... I have wasted time on multiple calls to Bill Dodge, no one has apologized, no one knows why the probems have occurred, and they don't seem to care. No one has a reason why they didn't figure out the problem earlier this week and get BMW to turn on the SOS system and test it themselves, so they could return the car to me. My conclusion, never buy another car from Bill Dodge, and don't buy another BMW. Their service and attention to my needs is woefully lacking. Jean Hoffman More
I was looking to buy a new BMW Z4, but first wanted a test drive. I was told by Michael Parsons that they did not have one on the lot and he implied I really did not need to do a test drive. I asked hi test drive. I was told by Michael Parsons that they did not have one on the lot and he implied I really did not need to do a test drive. I asked him to set one up that I could drive to and he really was not helpful at all. He just kept saying when they got one I would get a call. I contacted 2 other BMW dealers outside of Maine and got a totally different experience. They were very helpful and found me a car to test drive. I ended up ordering a new Z4 from the factory through a great dealer in Stratham, NH. They will also pick up my car at my house or office for service. They will give me a loaner while they have my car. I would have liked to support my local dealer, but after this I felt I had no choice but to take my business out of state. More

UPDATE: The Service Manager did refund the money we were charged for gas. They have also offered to look into the issue for what would be the fourth time. They have gone so far as to offer pick up and dro charged for gas. They have also offered to look into the issue for what would be the fourth time. They have gone so far as to offer pick up and drop off service for our car and a loaner for us to drive. Our recent visit to the service department at Bill Dodge was unsatisfactory. We are having problems with the radio in our BMW 328I. They replaced the radio and told us the car was fixed. After a few miles it became apparent that the issue had not been resolved. We brought the car back to Bill Dodge and asked them to try again. This time they replaced the amplifier and informed us that they had resolved the problem. We picked up the car and found that they had not resolved the issue. Additionally we discovered that we had been charged for gas in the loaner car we had been provided. This was done despite the fact that we had return the loaner car with a full tank of gas. We did not pay for the unsatisfactory repair as the vehicle is still under warranty. I will not return to Bill Dodge BMW. The Sales department puts a minimum amount of effort into their job. This is why we did not Purchase our vehicle from them in the first place. The Service department has proven to be impotent, and dishonest. More
I am disapointed with the lack of KNOWLEDGEBLE customer service by Bill Dodge BMW. I am equally disapointed with BMW corporate Customer Service as well. BMW Does not seem to care about the lack of servic service by Bill Dodge BMW. I am equally disapointed with BMW corporate Customer Service as well. BMW Does not seem to care about the lack of service performed by one of their dealerships, this coupled with the fact that Bill Dodge will quote Warranty Covered Repairs in hopes of duping those whom are not more on top of their warranties into forking over mass amounts of monies/CA$$$H for warranty covered repairs. Management is equally disapointing as they (Steve) would rather to correspond via email, and when you call Win Dodge, good luck on getting a call back.. Stay away from Bill Dodge BMW Service.. Horror Show.. To Date vehicle has yet to have warranty repairs performed due to the dealerships lack of ability to get Win Dodge to call to, at the very least, apologize to us for the lack of service.. More
Seems as though this issue may be resolved and it looks as though Bill Dodge is stepping up to help, It is appreciated. Ok So I own a 2008 BMW 328xi not bought at Bill Dodge but they are the only serv as though Bill Dodge is stepping up to help, It is appreciated. Ok So I own a 2008 BMW 328xi not bought at Bill Dodge but they are the only service department in the state so its a must to deal with them. I know I'm not the only one to feel they have been treated poorly. In fact each time I'm in the building it is pointed out to me that I did not purchase my vechicle there (side note I tried to and u wouldn't match another dealerships price). My car CPO has had the same issue since a month from purchase. Starts hard feels like it may stall then makes a ticking noise. The first time I came in before 50,000 miles I was basically told nothing was wrong left with the car still making the same noise and I was not happy. The second time I had my dealership bring the car in, this time a slight problem was found and fixed by my warrenty. Picked up the car and a week later the ticking noise is back (band-aid fix?) I then return to Bill Dodge myself explain the issue again and the service lady at the desk tells me perhaps I need an oil change... Really Lady? Really? So this time now out of my warrenty or so Bill Dodge thinks the real problem is found and they can repair it for $2,400. I go back to my dealership to tell my story and have my extended warrenty company contacted so I can have the repair done. As if this isn't bad enough my "issue" is common, you can search it on the internet and read all the information on it and play videos of the exact noise my car makes. So your BMW service department workers have no idea of common issues in the cars they service?? More
gave small trade in value for a 2005 BMW then sold her a 2006 with 50k Miles and now we can not get into another car because they screwed my disabled wife. The value they gave her 2006 this week is 1/2 for 2006 with 50k Miles and now we can not get into another car because they screwed my disabled wife. The value they gave her 2006 this week is 1/2 for the value they sold it for. Also the did a bait and switch on the finacing from 2.9 to almost 7%! More
Switched from Audi to BMW mostly due to the fact that this dealership came highly recommended (within my gear-head circle of friends). From the very first day shopping for a new car from this dealership this dealership came highly recommended (within my gear-head circle of friends). From the very first day shopping for a new car from this dealership - and, to be honest, that's never a welcome proposition - and an extremely professional sales staff (headed by the superb Sales Manager Paris Thomas) to the OUTSTANDING friendly and professional service we've ALWAYS encountered from day one [of service], and well beyond, headed by a truly honest and dedicated (when's the last time you heard that?!)Service Manager Steve Crossman - and that includes all his brilliant service advisors (Ron Forgues; Tracy Noyes; Denise Savoia) - this Bill Dodge dealership will NOT disappoint. No, I am NOT the owner (of the dealership), merely an EXTREMELY and CONSISTENTLY SATISFIED CUSTOMER. From Sales to Service this dealership rocks! More
