Definition of customer service I was in sheer panic and boiling over with stress whenever my gmc terrain's transmission and transmission controller went out. The first person I thought of to call for expert advice was Mike Davenport since my family had purchased several vehicles from him in the past. Mike promptly responded to me. After discussing the situation, I would get more bang for my buck by trading in my car. Mike had arrangements within a couple hours to have my car towed from Fort Wayne, IN to Bachman's in Louisville THAT evening. I was happy with the cost to tow it and pleasantly surprised by how fast he was able to set the gears in motion. The next day I made the 4 hour drive to Louisville. Mike was super knowledgable about the cars I was interested in and had no hesitation about delivering me what I needed/wanted. After a few hours of test driving, etc., I drove back home in my '13 Chevy Cruze. The car is everything I could ask for. Mike really alleviated a ton of stress during my first car breakdown and walking me through my first car purchase. No other car dealers will get my business. The drive was absolutely worth it. Found a Mazda B3000 at this dealership, made an inquiry then made a trip up to see it. Dealt with Gerald Williamson. Went over the numbers and I needed a day or two to think it over. After considering it I called and made them what I felt was a reasonable offer and they accepted it. I feel I got a decent deal on the vehicle with no real pushy sales tactics, A pretty straightforward experience. Only problem I had was that I had arranged for a Saturday morning pick up for it, and apparently they hadn't gotten the vehicle ready yet...so I did have to wait around for about 2 hours to close the deal. But all in all...a pretty good car buying experience. Not their biggest sale, I know, but Gerald and everyone treated it like it mattered. More
