Slimy, slimy, salesman!!! I had been looking for a used car for over three weeks and was in desperate need of one in my price range that was a particular car I wanted. I called about a car and the salesman car for over three weeks and was in desperate need of one in my price range that was a particular car I wanted. I called about a car and the salesman told me that someone was trying to finance through the bank with it but the deal was not looking good so to call back the next day and then they'd have an answer. I call back the next day and they say the same thing and to call back the next day... And the next day... This went on for three weeks and sadly I really wanted this car so I put up with these worthless salesman. Come to find out, the "person" who was trying to finance for the car was actually the salesman who had me calling everyday thinking it might still be available!! Yes, this dealership sells it best deal cars to their own salesman... Very unprofessional!!! So finally the lying salesman calls me and said the financing didn't go through.. So he said I needed to leave work to come put a deal on the car because there were tons of other people who wanted the car as well and were on the way up there. I leave work and drive an hour away to this place, test drive it, love it, fill out an application for it and everything... At this point I've been there three hours when I should be at work. I'm getting excited because I waited weeks for this car and finally all my patience had paid off...not. A lady walks in and fills out an application for MY car and they sell it to her like that and come in and tell me that they sold it to her because her salesman had already knew she was coming to buy it. What?!?!? I've been trying to buy it for three weeks and Ive been here for three hours!! They sold it right underneath me when I had application filled out and everything! I WILL NOT ever recommend this dealership to anyone and I will make sure none of my family or friends ever do business with them! Shawn, Sammy, Jose, and Charles were extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate!!! But yah know what, that's fine! Because I found an honest dealership somewhere else who I just bought a car from, who didn't give me the runaround and were very professional!! More
I did not have the best purchase expereince and even worse after purchase service from used sales department. However, teh customer service team, service and parts department were excellent and made ma worse after purchase service from used sales department. However, teh customer service team, service and parts department were excellent and made many of the negative issue with the sales team go away. I got waht i wanted at the price I wanted, but the hassle was pretty high to get it. More
The reason that I have given the rating that I have is that my experience with the Sales Staff - Kevin Van Winkle and the Finance Departmet - Brian Le were nothing less than stellar. However, since I drove the car off of the lot the office staff have been nothing more than dismal at best. I have repeatedly called the office to see if my license plates were ready to pick up and here it is a month after I purchased my vehicle and guess what - no license plates. I have many friends who have purchased vehicles at other dealerships and all of them have received their license plates and registrations within 2 weeks of their purchase. But it is just getting good - Glenda "title clerk" has the plates, but hasn't found the time to "issue" them and she informed that my plates would be not be good for another 30 days after I received them and that I would not be able to get an EZ Pass for at least 30 days after my plates are "issued." That is a bald faced lie since I was able to get an EZ Pass with only my temporary tag and was told by HCTRA to simply call in to inform them of my plate number when I receive them. If the plates are truly not good for 30 days as she indicated, how can I be driving legally for those 30 days? I am totally discouraged by this mindless paper pusher who seems to do her job only when she feels like it and will certainly take into consideration how the office staff has treated me with this purchase when it comes time to purchase another Nissan vehicle. More

I drove a Nissan 224 miles to take it to James Powell (I got my Altima there and was so impressed that I wanted my friends to experience how great I thought the dealership was) The Altima I drove down wasn' got my Altima there and was so impressed that I wanted my friends to experience how great I thought the dealership was) The Altima I drove down wasn't running right and the glove box had become misaligned. James test drove it and told me he wanted to kept the car overnight for more "testing." I agreed and he gave me a rental. After the testing was completed he told us I needed work. Example- an oil change (duh), a new belt, and there was a part that needed to be replaced, which he said he ordered it, etc. We agreed on what we wanted him to fix and almost $500 later I got the car back. James said the part should be in, in 7-10 business days. First of all, it has now been over 60 days and we still haven't received a call from James about the part, the glove box was never fixed, and he never did an oil change. After paying someone else to change the oil, I finally called and asked why it wasn't done. His response "It's not on your ticket?" REALLY DUDE? Then said "Oh I'm so sorry next time you are in I can detail your car or give you a free oil change." Again, REALLY? Like I'm going to drive 224 miles for an oil change. What's really annoying is his lack to pick up a phone and call someone back aftr telling them he would. I must say I was completely embarrassed by Baker Nissan and James. I have one more free oil change (from when I purchased my car) and after that I will NEVER EVER take my Altima to Baker or James!! Thank You James Powell for NEVER calling us back regarding the part you said you "ordered" and thank you for making people spend more money because you can't do your job, and thank you for NOTHING! I brought my 2006 Nissan Altima 3.5 SL (which I had purchased from them in 2007 in a very nice transaction), with low mileage (less than 43K) and good condition in for an appraisal after going to their purchased from them in 2007 in a very nice transaction), with low mileage (less than 43K) and good condition in for an appraisal after going to their website and getting a preliminary appraisal of $13,100. Billy called me, I said I could go in the same day. I was only interested in purchasing a 2012 370Z convertible but they didn't have any for me to test drive. Billy offered me a 2010 Infiniti G37 convertible as a possible alternate. Wasn't really interested, but looked at it, and planned on keeping it under consideration. After looking at it, and going into Billy's office, the sales manager showed up and gave me a fairly hard pitch for the G37, which I was fine with but I explained I am not an impulse buyer and there was nothing about it that said it was such an incredible deal I needed it right then. The sales manager then "remembered" I was waiting for an appraisal, and said "Oh, we could only give you $4-5,000 for it." Even Billy seemed to be surprised at that low ball of an offer and apparently the sales manager didn't realize I had brought the print-out of appraisal and had done a fair amount of research before. As I said, I bought my Altima there, brought my son back to buy his new Altima coupe there a couple of years ago. Am not going back to purchase anything and am telling everyone I know to avoid the place. The Service Dept. has been very good though. More
This was my first new car experience and everyone made it very easy-going and a great experience. I was worried I'd have to try hard to bargain and fight my way in and out for a new car at a good price but very easy-going and a great experience.
