I work with John and Ron in the wholesales parts department, Would have to day both guys are outstanding, very knowlegable about part, very fast delivery time. A few months ago I took a 5 hour trip to Houston. I went to Nissan looking for a used car. I met Mr. Sammy Vela who greeted me with a friendly smile. He was very professional and patient. Like most people, I was dreading the thought of purchasing a new vehicle. I made a point to go look on a Saturday when I had another appointment scheduled close so as not to get reeled into the pro purchasing a new vehicle. I wanted to have time to evaluate the situation, research, and have the ability to make a wise decision. Jessie was most accommodating, not pushy, informative of the vehicles features and benefits, and most of all gave me the opportunity to see,test drive the vehicle, and leave for my appointment....no hassle, no sales closing like "but today only, you can"...Thank goodness for that! I called Jessie on Monday to let him know my intentions and asked him to give me a quote on a lease. From this point, he gave me the information without hassle and began to answer my list of questions without defense or hassle. I went back on Monday evening to ask more questions of his Sales Manager. The Sales Manager met with me and kindly answered all my questions on Monday and on Wednesday, the day I signed the papers. My experience from the time I parked on the lot at Baker Nissan was very good. I'm not sure I've ever had such an experience. I have leased many cars from other "tribes"; but this one was awesome! So, my encouragement to those of you looking for a vehicle, go see Baker Nissan. Nissan not only has an excellent vehicle, (this is my third Nissan), Baker Nissan has the process down right, no hassle shopping! Thanks much to Jessie, his Sales Manager, and the finance team. I was instantly welcomed at Baker Nissan North (Used Car Sales) and was immediately attended by a sales person. He listened to what I had to say about what kind of car I was interested in purchasing and sho Sales) and was immediately attended by a sales person. I was given ample time to make my decision and had all of my questions answered. Paperwork was filled out in a timely manner. I would never recommend this dealership. Worst experience of purchasing a car. I was pre-approved, upfront with what I wanted in a vehicle, and lease payment. They immedeiately tried to put me in a more expensive model than I wanted. They told me they had the model I was looking for. When I arrived at the dealership - they only had a more expensive model. The Sales Manager - Scott - lied and tried repeatedly to put me in a more expensive model. They finally - after three hours - brought a vehicle with my requirments from another dealership. We witnessed one sales person accusing another of lying and stealing his customer in front of customers - very unprofessional! It was painfully obvious our salesperson was new. Had NO knowledge of the product. Had issues completing paper work. As we were waiting to finalize the deal, they assisted another customer before us even though this customer arrived much later than we did. At that point I walked out of the dealership. I have never experienced such unethical, unprofessional behavior. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I am now looking at Toyota's. More
