After not having the truck at the dealership that was advertised, and 4 hours of debating over a price we decided to allow the dealer to locate a similar truck for us to purchase. We were told they had one secured in San Antonio and they were picking it up. We signed the sales paperwork at 11:15 P.M that night. 48 hours later we were told it wasn't available anymore. We then did our own search and located our truck at a dealer in town at a cheaper price (Central Nissan) and informed our salesman and manager. They told us it really wasn't there anymore and they had located a truck in Mississippi for which they are retrieving it for us and should have it in a couple days. Low and behold they got the truck for us and we picked it up. After getting it home and looking in the glove box I pull out the window sticker for the truck...guess what dealer it came from, Central Nissan. To top it all off, the finance employee we did the original sales paperwork with no longer works for the dealer. We still haven't received the original copies of our paperwork , only photostatic copies. That took us 3 weeks to get from the Finance Director with no explanation. Our vehicle trade in still hasn't been paid off by Bakker Nissan leaving me responsible for a car payment on a vehicle I traded in to them, still no answer from the Finance Director on why it hasn't been paid off yet. More

The beginning of a beautiful relationship I had done some shopping around for quotes with other dealerships and found that Baker Nissan really lives up to their standards as one of the best Ni I had done some shopping around for quotes with other dealerships and found that Baker Nissan really lives up to their standards as one of the best Nissan dealerships out there. I inquired online about the Rogue and Murano and received a quick and friendly response from Mike. I ended up speaking to him in the phone and he invited me and my fiancé to come in and check it out. Everyone working at the dealership was friendly and didn't waste any of our time with our purchase. Mike was very knowledgable about the vehicles I was interested in and he kept a nice relaxed atmosphere which is greatly appreciated when it comes to making a big purchase. Although I didn't get the exact exterior color I wanted, I got the interior color I was so fond of and Mike was able to pull through and offer a deal I couldn't refuse. In the end I left with a nicer vehicle than I thought I was after. Up until now I can't believe it's mine and I just know my new Rogue and I will create great memories together! Before we left the lot, Mike made sure we knew how to operate our new vehicle and made himself available if we ever needed anything. I've never felt so welcome and excited to be part of a dealership family and I just know that me and my new Rogue are in good hands. More

Overall very good; yet typical 2+ hour wait (no trade in) I found the 2011 Versa online with a great price (top 1% price within 300 miles). Contacted dealership and salesperson and management worked well and I found the 2011 Versa online with a great price (top 1% price within 300 miles). Contacted dealership and salesperson and management worked well and fairly with me over the phone. Salesperson (Yahya) emailed me extra photos of the car (due to fact we live in Baton Rouge and dealership is in Houston). Management came to an agreed price on the car - actually 2: one with Certified Nissan Warranty and one without (good thing). I offered deposit, but management at Baker Nissan (after i completed app. online) said no need - trusted I was coming next day. My daughter; a new college student - car for her - and 2 of my other children went with me to drive the car back. We call and asked how long process with take (told about 30 minutes - so waited on late lunch). Process (financing and purchasing) took over 2 hours. In part due to finding me - 2 offers on financing (interest rates were great for my ok range credit scores). We viewed Carfax before going - after in Houston, told due to minor damage on side of car (that we knew about from Carfax) could not be Certified (lost $ 400 extra - option to get 100K warranty - but still had 2 years/30K on existing - Nissan warranty is good for multi-owners). Would have been big problem if I did not get verbal agreement to price beforehand for certified and non-cert. deal... Management said they were (losing due to taxes for my zip - forget his exact language) on the deal... but would honor his word. I said I did disclose zipcode originally, so did not feel to bad; and gave and extra 50 or 100 because I did not want the salesperson to get unfair deal. All in all, I would have clarified financing before going if possible (put down $ 5,000 of $ 10,000); but other than that which caused the extra hour and a half wait time, and other than the certification mix up... Baker Nissan gave a great price and honored phone agreements without Deposit. Thus, I would recommend them and give 4.5 stars of 5. More

The sales person Derrick Shaw went on and on about he could get me a cheaper rate and I had 72 hours to change my mind and go with my credit union. I believe him and sign the contract. Needless to say he did not tell me the truth. This was my first time buying a car and he has made my experience horrible. Baker Nissan is suppose to be one of the top dealership but don't be fool by them. Do not trust anyone there. All they care about us commission, not customer. If you are looking to get a new car go to another dealer. More
