Great purchase experience I was shopping for a new Civic as a 16th birthday present for my daughter and emailed several dealerships in RI and MA for pricing. The response from Balise was prompt and straight-forward with the pricing for the specific model/trim I was interested in. When I went to the showroom, the internet sales manager greeted me and handed me off to one of their salesmen, Anthony Scudieri. I had previously had the pleasure of working with Anthony a couple years earlier when I was assisting my parents in looking for a new car, and remembered him for his straight-forwardness and kindness in dealing with my parents (even after they decided to go with a VW from the neighboring dealership), so felt like it was a "sign" when I was paired up with Anthony again when shopping for my daughters' car. Anthony clearly knows the Honda products well and was very easy to work with in finalizing the deal. Balise was willing to hold the car for 30 days, so we could surprise my daughter with it the weekend before her birthday, which took her totally by surprise when we walked into the service/delivery bay where the car was all cleaned up with balloons attached to the driver side mirror. Truly a great experience all around, from initial contact to final delivery, and at a very competitive price! More

Balise Bait-and-Switch SCAM! I received a letter from Balise Honda of West Warwick, stating they were having an event in which they "desperately" needed to buy back my 2015 CR-V T I received a letter from Balise Honda of West Warwick, stating they were having an event in which they "desperately" needed to buy back my 2015 CR-V Touring. They would pay me "top dollar" for my trade-in, and put me in new Honda of my choosing for less than what I am paying now monthly. Also giving me a possible additional $7,000 toward my trade-in, plus an additional $4000 combined with 1.9% financing. Called dealership to investigate. Sales rep stated yes this is all possible. So I went to the event with my letter in hand....not once did they mention any of the deals in the letter. In fact, they held on to it the whole time I was there so that perhaps I could not reference it. Try to sell me a dirty, scuffed up 2016 cr-v that had over 100 miles on it. Oh and to lower my monthly payments? Yeah right, they wanted me to pay $47 MORE a month and that's with adding 6 more months to my term! I spoke to the manager Mike and asked him how do I get ANY of the offers in this letter? After a lot of beating around the bush bull$hit, he asked me if he could get me back down to what I'm paying now would that be ok with me? Seriously? As if I needed to bring my payment "back down" ? What do you mean back down ( nice tactic)? No, I want what was stated in this letter that this dealership sent me. I don't have a problem with what I'm paying now, I'm here because this letter states it could lower my payment and give a new car at the same time. Hey sales rep on the phone said it was possible with all the incentives on new Hondas. Sounded good to me. So, tell me why I don't qualify for that deal or any of them? Oh by the way, I had to ask twice for my keys back since they needed them to appraise my car. Oh and speaking of the appraisal, I asked a couple of times about that....first thing they did was appraise my car but for some reason Mike the Manager had to check it out, somehow after sitting in that dealership for 2.5hours, my appraisal wasn't on the clipboard that seemed to follow me around in the hand of the salesman. So Mike the Manager comes back with an awesome deal....he can get me back down, (back down from what? That ridiculous offer previously given to me?) to $246/month, just have to increase my term a bit....from 42 months to....84MONTHS!!! Haha really nice! I have 3 and half years left on my loan and this guy wants to double it. So after stating "no thank you", the worse part of all of this...in the 2 and half hours that I spent in the dealership, mostly sitting around waiting for my salesman to reappear, I saw a lot of older folk there for this "event" and I thought to myself "I hope they don't fall for this scam". And before I forget, I never got to hear what my car was appraised at.....I'm sure the fact that it was kept in great condition with very low mileage, cleaner than the car they had me test drive!, had nothing to do with Mike "forgetting" to tell me car's value ;-) More

6 years of business! I started going to Balise Honda when it was under a different dealer family 6 years ago. The staff hasn't changed much and it has always been the same I started going to Balise Honda when it was under a different dealer family 6 years ago. The staff hasn't changed much and it has always been the same great service. When I started coming in it was to get parts for my 1997 Civic. They always treated me as if I had purchased this car from them directly and were always helpful. One Honda later I still go to parts when I need OEM replacements for my car as I am a mechanic myself and like my cars working correctly. I've spent probably a couple thousand dollars in parts over the past six years and now that I'm looking into into buying a new Type R when it finally releases, there is no question I'll be coming to Balise to talk with their friendly sales staff who have always greeted me kindly when I walked through the door. More

For someone who has no credit- as I went through the process I expected to be told they could not help even until the very moment the keys were on the desk as each person walked towards me I just thought yup its not mine- once i sat in the financing office to sign the official paperwork reality set in I walked away with a 2014 hyundai elantra perfect for my son and I. I left in tears of joy i left with a great car, with the best financing and a new start to build credit.
