I was looking for a manual transmission Ford Focus or a Honda Fit. I drove a Focus, but none of the local dealers in Rhode Island could find me a manual transmission without a lot of other added features. Honda Fit. I was looking on the internet and I found an interesting price for a Honda Fit on the Majestic South website, so I hesitantly entered my information. The internet sales person, Carmella, called me right away and quoted me an excellent price. She said they didn't have the base Fit with a manual transmission but they did have the Sport version of the Fit with a stick shift. I went to test drive a manual transmission Honda Fit Sport, just to get an idea of how it handled. I was just in the first stages of looking for a new car. My criteria was: under $17,000 (Carmella quoted me $15,373), manual transmission, it had to be a hatchback, and it had to get good gas mileage. I liked the way the Fit Sport handled, but they didn't have the base Fit (with a manual t.) on their lot or at their Majestic North location. Now that I was getting more serious, I decided I wanted the exterior color to be dark grey, base model, manual transmisson. Majestic Honda didn't physically have this car and they don't make a lot of cars with manual transmissions these days, but they were able to make a deal with another Honda dealer and they found the exact car (including color) I wanted, for the price they initially quoted me. An added complication was I listed my old truck on Craig's List and I sold it in 2 days. So I needed the car fast - a car they didn't have. And they found it for me within the time frame I needed. This dealership, and Joe Bevilacqua in particular, found me exactly what I was looking for - they covered all my criteria for buying a car and they made the entire process incredibly easy. I highly recommend this dealership. More

Prior to Majestic, my husband and I had checked out two other dealerships where they recommended vehicles that were nowhere close to the body type we had asked for. We told him the type of car we wanted and what we already had in mind and that's when the negotiation began. Dave have exceeded our expectations and worked around our schedule, he even took the time to come to work on his day off just so we can finalize the paperwork and bring our beast of a truck home. Was told "your budget is not my problem" and when I questioned a "law" the price quote was crumpled up, thrown in the garbage and followed by "I don't want to do business with you, BYE!" Chanceny was very pleasant and accomodating to work with and answered many questions via e-mail. 3. In the dealership, our Sales Consultant, David Fontaine was very friendly and extremely helpful in all phases of the purchase of this vehicle. 4. David helped us navigate through the entire purchase of the vehicle explaining everything in terms that my wife and I could fully understand. 5. The pricing of the vehicle was exactly as quoted by Chanceny. 6. The test drive went very well. David let us take the car and told us where to go to get the best test drive and try pulling in and out of parking spaces in a Park and Ride location along the test drive route. 7. We liked the CR-V so much during the test drive, that we decided then and there to purchase the vehicle. 8. David showed us a paper with pricing explaining the MSRP price, the discounts, the trade in price and the final net price of the vehicle. 9.
