I will start by saying, the ONLY reason I'm giving them 3 stars (and not 1) is because at the end of the day I got the car I wanted, and I didn't over pay. Now for the drama... I narrowed it down to a 2020 Ford Escape in Dark Persian Green. I started checking around online for the best price. I eventually ended up negotiating with the Online Sales Director for this dealership. I got him down to a decent price, but I found one for a lower price and was hoping he would match it. He told me he could match the price for a different color, but he was as low as he could go for the car I wanted. By Labor Day h convinced me to come in because it was the last day for various incentives. When I got there a sales person greeted me and told me that he would be helping me. While e went on a test drive, they appraised my vehicle (one of the "incentives" was "up to 150% of KBB value"). My vehicle appraised around $7200, they offered me $6500 (strike 1). We started the finance process. After I agreed on financing terms, the finance guy came over to tell me they DIDNT HAVE THE CAR I WANTED! He said it was at another location which was closed, and may be in the process of being sold to another customer. They wouldn't know until the morning. He explained that I could take my car and come back the following day. I think he could tell by the look on my face that I WAS NOT coming back if I left. So then he offered that they could bring me the car the following day... then, eventually, that I could get a loaner, and they would bring me my car. THEN the sales person came back and said, sorry we don't have any dealer tags, we can't give you a loaner. I told him to give me my keys and I would not be doing business with them. He ran to speak to a manager. While he spoke to the manager the finance manager came over. She had a HUGE smile telling me she had great news for me. She basically finagled the financing so she could throw in a bunch of the extra warranty coverage that they try to upsell you for "free". After I stopped fuming I realized that agreeing to this offer would actually save me A LOT in financing, so I agreed. They magically manifested a loaner tag, and they gave me the same car I bought in a different color as a loaner. Longer story short, that day turned into a week. I went in on September 7th, but didn't get my car until the 11th. My experience with them was nothing but lies, stress, and headache. However, like I said in the beginning, I got my the car I wanted, and I didn't over pay. There were a lot of other lies and annoyances with them that I will not get into. This was THE worst car buying experience I have ever had, but they also made slightly made up for it... kinda... maybe... More

My sales guy made it better I traded my 17 mustang Ecoboost for a 20 gt and Lord it was a whole headache with the back and forth but Sean Mathis was awesome to work with. He was honest and upfront with me and could tell for the most part he is a genuine person. I should have taken the deal they gave me a few days before because it had better incentives and Sean really did help to pull that through. The other guy Jarade not sure i'm spelling it write, he was o.k, he was cool but a little shady because I peeped him lying to me about some details that Sean had already explained to a few hours before. I just played stupid though. I told Sean that I still felt like I could have gotten a better deal but that I was happy to make this trade with him being my sales guy. Big up to him and may he be blessed with more sales to come. This is my second trade with them so for sales i'm cool with them but the service side is some trash. I had to start taking my last mustang to Darcars for in Lanham. Oh and Chin in the finance was cool too very personable, like him too. More

I arrived at the dealership with financing in place and asked that my credit not be run, My credit was run anyway and I was told by a gentleman in finance that he wanted to see if I could get a lower interest rate, I was furious, I was already pre-approved by my bank at a reasonable rate, I traded in my 2011 Dodge Challenger and went I went into the finance office to sign the final paperwork the price on the documents for my trade in was incorrect so I refused to sign, I was told that they were not making any changes even though I had documentation by them that stated my trade in price. I already had poession of the new car so I told them I would not sign unless the documents were corrected. I then called my bank and told them not to release the money to Sheehy Ford unless there was a new signed contract presented. The representative told me that another representative was on the phone with Sheehy as they were trying to secure the payment, I told the bank they do not have my signature, THe bank Capital One did as I asked. I then received a call from Sheehy asking me to return to the dealership the next day. The manager told me he made the corrections and asked if I would sign. I signed and confirmed with Capital One and the deal was done. I purchased the VIP plan at the time of purchase. This was a huge mistake. I made an appointment for my first oil change and they could not find the documentation that I had the VIP plan. Of course I had a copy and they entered it into their system. I still had to wait and was told they were short staffed. This has been the case with each oil change. Scheduling service has been equally difficult at both locations--Marlowe and Springfield. I would never purchase a car from here again. My overall experience was horrible, I do still have the car but I try to avoid Sheehy at all cost. I had a much better experience at Ourisman. More
