He answered all of my questions and was very much a gentleman. I have purchased several vehicle from baron over the years and this was, hands down, the best experience. Was given $11,700 bid without even taking anything apart to verify what was wrong. This is what parts replacers do and then hope they get the right part to fix the problem. When questioning the service advisor, he couldn’t answer any of my questions cause he was new.Ask the general manager to contact me and he had the service manager contact me. If I wanted to talk to the service manager, I would’ve called him direct! After the service manager called me, he dropped the price $2000 which was still too high because even he couldn’t answer my technical questions. I called the service manager twice left one voicemail with no reply, I asked him to get back to me. When I called Steve and told him I was picking the car up. He called me back and said the service manager would come down another thousand dollars off the estimate. how can you come down $3000 off an estimate and not even know for sure what’s wrong with the car because you haven’t taken it apart! I told Steve I’ve already made other plans. I felt I really got the runaround in the service department and and from the GM for not returning my phone call. This was a special order car back in 2005 with the original owner from your location. That is not the way to take care of a customer. It not only cost you a possible repair but definitely a new car deal. Anybody that works on the service drive needs to have a mechanical background and if you’re a service manager or parts manager, you definitely need to have a mechanical background along with a parts background so ask questions by the customer, you can sound intelligent. Sloppy, lazy, terrible customer service. Twice I have work done to my car that was done half-way causing me to have to bring the car back for the work to get finished. I had a side mirror repair that they left the wires showing out from under the speaker. The other time I had a sensor failure that I was told was addressed only to have the sensor light come back on 5 minutes after leaving. It also took my technician over 24 hours to call me and tell me that my car was “done”. I found out that my car had been ready when I got to the shop because the technician made a comment that the repairs were completed almost 2 days prior. I’ve loved my car but this dealership has ruined my experience More
