I have purchased and serviced many BMWs at Baron since 1992. My experience today was disappointing at best. I have decided to move my business to another dealership. I discovered that they performed fraudulent work on my X3 using non-BMW/OEM replacement parts but charging me as if they did, without informing me. They also won’t accept responsibility for the N20 engine Timing Chain issue which has been known by BMW and an issue BMW lost a class-action lawsuit. The “replacement Timing Chain lasted only 36,000 miles and they want $5000 to replace it again. Their best offer was to discount it 15%. This is after they said I needed a new battery to solve the Drivetrain Malfunction error message; which lead to discovering that they did not install an OEM battery. And the new battery didn’t solve the error code and they wouldn’t refund my money. This dealership has turned into a mediocre BMW dealership which unfortunately after being a customer with them for over 30 years I am moving on. My next new vehicle is coming from a different dealer. I currently own 4 BMWs and also BMW motorcycle and have attended both their Driving Performance and Rider Academy schools in SC. Its sad to see a dealership become mediocre after so many years. More

Had a stubborn bolt that was defying all of my cheater bars, impact guns, and other tricks. I just needed it off without damaging the wheel so I could complete a project.
