Excellent Service Department We bought our BMW X1 at Baron. The salesman mentioned that we would want to have our service done at their dealership as they employed the most Class We bought our BMW X1 at Baron. The salesman mentioned that we would want to have our service done at their dealership as they employed the most Class A mechanics in the area. I thought to myself that sounds expensive but when we experienced a problem with the back up camera I called Baron Service. Service arranged a loaner (BMW) and picked up our car in Topeka. Mechanics diagnosed the problem and the service department called to explain the repair and authorize the repair. The dealership returned the car the following day to Topeka. Expect a very professional experience at a reasonable and fair price More

Service Department Always try's to up sell I have taken my Bmw here many times, not by choice but it is the closest certified dealer. Every single time it is a horrible experience! They always, always try to up sell, fix things they supposedly fixed already if it wasn't for the fact I keep all my records from the work they supposedly did on my car they were trying to get me to do them again. I would Not recommend this place as it seems the service dept works on commission and are very rude. More

Service dept wasn't informative Went in for service because I had a error message on the dash. The error message indicated something wrong with the electronic steering lock. I read u Went in for service because I had a error message on the dash. The error message indicated something wrong with the electronic steering lock. I read up hours and hours on the Internet the day prior to taking my car in so I was knowledgable of the situation. They immediately told me it was going to need a new steering column and would cost $1200. I knew from what I read online that the model and year of car that I have is known for this error message and as long as the car still starts then you don't need a new steering column, just need the software updated. They told me it was going to need replaced again so I just asked them to clear the code. They cleared it and I drove home and it hasn't come back since. I feel they just automatically told me the most expensive solution hoping I wouldn't question it and pay the $1200. More
