The cashier was nice, but the person who was in charge of my case/car was rude. I asked for a print out and detailed description of everything that was happening, and I didn’t receive what I asked for. It to my case/car was rude. The quote I was given v the paperwork he gave had two different numbers and things didn’t get settled until he gave a line by line detailed receipt and estimate page. When I was looking things over at the cashier, he asked “what now?” With an attitude. I was also asked to bring my car in during the morning, was charged for 4 hours of labor, but my car took a day and a half to be ready, causing me to miss and appointment. More

I’ve always brought my car for service to Basney, even though I purchased my car elsewhere. The last couple of times I have been there there have been problems with the service, one time cross threading t though I purchased my car elsewhere. The last couple of times I have been there there have been problems with the service, one time cross threading the lug nut that had to be cut off and replaced when having new tires put on and this last time, not tightening the oil pan with oil leaking all over the garage floor and having to return my car to have it checked and the oil topped off. More

Had appointment set for 11 am, they didn’t even get to my vehicle until after their lunch at 12:30. I know this because I came back after my lunch at 12:05 and car was in the same spot. When I asked why they said they are on lunch right now. Didn’t have any courtesy vehicles available. Sat with my infant and toddler in the shop the rest of the time. Was supposed to get a few things done but due to the timing, only got the software on the vehicle updated. From appointment time to finished it took 5 hours and 15 minutes. They did fix the problem which I am grateful. The only person that came to talk or anything was a man from the parts store that gave each of my kids a hot wheels. More
I did have to call 2 times asking if my part was in yet, and no reply. The third time I called, the part was in but nobody called me. Other than that, everything went fine. Service was fine and a billing error was taken care of with no hassle. I did however not get the full invoice after corrections and did not receive my warranty card for my new battery. with no hassle.
