After selecting a ca Avoid at All Costs My sister and I had an absolutely terrible experience at Honda Bay Ridge when we attempted to lease a car. After selecting a car and agreeing on a monthly payment, we put down a deposit. The next day, my sister returned to pay the remaining amount and pick up the car. She signed all the documents, but quickly realized that the amount had changed from what we originally agreed upon. When she questioned this, the finance manager seemed clueless and didn’t even know about a discount that had been offered to us. Despite this, the numbers still didn’t add up. My sister tried to negotiate, and when she called me for advice, I told her not to agree to the new terms until I arrived. Unfortunately, while I was on my way, my sister reluctantly agreed to pay the higher amount, even though it was above the original deal. When I got there, I expressed my dissatisfaction to the manager, stating that their service was unacceptable and that I would not hesitate to leave a bad review. Instead of addressing our concerns, another manager came over and abruptly told us that they were no longer willing to sell us the car, saying, “We don’t like to do business with you.” This was shocking, especially since my sister already had the keys in her hand and had cleared the insurance. We demanded either the car or a legal explanation for why they couldn’t complete the sale. Instead of providing any explanation, they began threatening us and said they would call the police. We were forced to wait until 10 PM, and when the police arrived, they made us leave, leaving us with no car, no refund, and no explanation. To make matters worse, the staff harassed us and made derogatory comments about my Muslim sister’s attire, which was both offensive and discriminatory. This kind of racist and unprofessional behavior is completely unacceptable, and I am now pursuing legal action against them. These managers need to be held accountable for their actions. I strongly urge anyone considering Honda Bay Ridge to avoid this dealership at all costs. Their behavior was not only unprofessional but blatantly racist. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere. More

I called the day before and the receptionist told me that the parts (fuel injectors) that were ordered for his car was here. I went to the dealership yesterday, and the lady told me to go see I guess one of the senior advisors. When I got to the senior advisor’s desk, she looked at me as if I was crazy. The senior advisor’s name was Susan Jogie. She then asked me questions like who told me to come see her, what I was doing here. Apparently my original advisor was on leave. This Susan Jogie has got to be one of the worst no mannered lady on earth! I even heard her muttered to herself, “xxxxing Jamal”…. (Jamal was his original advisor.) like come on, don’t tell me that if someone’s on leave, we the customers have to wait for that person to come back. That’s messed up for sure. This lady Susan should be fired. Absolutely ZERO customer service at all. Fast forward to the end of the day, she didn’t even call me to tell me that my car was ready. There was this other guy, I think his name was Edwin, he called me up and told me the car was ready and that the closing time was 7pm to make sure I got there on time. I went there at 6:30pm and Edwin assisted me with the whole process, took less than 5 minutes to get the car out. Thanks Edwin! More
I had a bad day yesterday when my battery died and I had to call a friend for a jump. Driving home I realized I needed to get a new battery now or have a 50/50 chance of having to go through this again tomo to call a friend for a jump. I thought it was too late for them to agree to change the battery. I had a phone number in my phone for the service manager, Andrew, who I got to know over many years of servicing my Honda. He was always very helpful. I called to ask his advise. He remembered me and told me he would call me right back. A few minutes later he called me back and told me to get to Honda Service. It was getting near closing time. I got there and spoke to Lee who was very helpful. It seemed like only a few minutes and the battery was changed and I had new battery. I called Andrew back to thank him. I also have some medical problems and this help from all the Honda employees was very much appreciated. Thank you all who went further than you had to. Kevin More
