Great local dealership I was shopping around the tri-state area for a 2020 Subaru Ascent Touring for a couple of months. After exchanging emails with a few other dealerships I was shopping around the tri-state area for a 2020 Subaru Ascent Touring for a couple of months. After exchanging emails with a few other dealerships including Joseph Teti from my local Bay Ridge Subaru, I made my way in to see "Joe". Joe made the process quick and painless; he even matched a very competitive price another dealership 50 miles away was able to offer. We went on a test drive, discussed some of the standard features and reviewed Bay Ridge's lifetime oil changes and NYS inspection guarantee. Eventually we started on my paper work no questions asked and no pushy sales tactics. Although the ordering process was painless, the delivery time (despite Joe's ETA being spot on) was excruciating. I finally received notification that my car had arrived a little after 8 weeks and so I headed back into my local dealership. Joe once again was very accommodating; went over the Starlink plans with me and gave me a quick overview of the different service and instruction manuals that came with the car. From there it was time to speak with Roy the Finance Manager. I'm not entirely sure if Roy was just a man of very few words or if he was upset that I turned down the extended warranty and vehicle protection plan but he didn't say much nor was he very interactive. Nonetheless he took care of my financing and honored a $500 Subaru Ambassador coupon that I presented. Since Subaru was running a year end finance special, I got the interest rate I was hoping to get as well, win-win! Finally it was on to check out my very own Ascent and go over everything that the car came with. Joe was very knowledgable about the different features of the car but despite him explaining each one, I secretly still didn't know what everything thing did until I actually had some time to play around with them personally. All in all, I'm glad I paid Bay Ridge Subaru a visit. The facility was reasonably clean and the staff (at least the ones I did work with) were fairly personable. Joe was professional and courteous and I highly recommend working with him for all your Subaru needs! More

We initially looked at the car in late November, and decided to start the process- it took us about 2 hours that day to get everything going. We were told the car would arrive some time in January, but to our surprise it arrived a month early. Our visit to pick it up took about another 2 hours between all of the paperwork, financing, and trade-in- which is really great considering I've sat in dealerships for several hours at a clip in the past. The car is great, we're really happy with it, and are happy with how Subaru treated us. More

He negotiated the price down to the absolute floor (beating every other dealership and leasing company for the same model with more features), and their leases include free oil changes, inspections after the first, shuttle service, loaner service, and road side service. We'll be going back. More

Marc and Alicia deserve a raise! The recall letter said the airbag replacement would take 1 to 3 hours but the dealership said it was an all day job. It turned out to be 4 1/2 hours. For the sake of customers who need to schedule their lives, an accurate estimation should be given. The loaner vehicle was very good, especially when we are in the market for a new car. But, after 2 recalls on our Subaru, I have second thoughts on the brand. Also, CR doesn't rate your new Forester too well. More
