On 4/23/21 I had my 2016 Impreza serviced at Bayridge subaru. Oil change, New York State inspection and new front brakes. The next day I went up to Massachusetts with my girl friend and did some hiking. subaru. Oil change, New York State inspection and new front brakes. The next day I went up to Massachusetts with my girl friend and did some hiking. On the way home I lost my brakes. It was terrifying. I was able to find a Subaru dealership in Pittsfield Massachusetts but by the time I got there it was closing. I had to find a hotel, get an Uber, and wait until the morning. The next morning the Subaru dealership said that the bleeder hose was never tightened and I lost my brake fluid. They charged me $120. I immediately drove to bayridge Subaru where I explained my story. After a while, they refunded me my $120 but I had to eat the hotel and also missing a day at work. Very upsetting that this place didn’t seem to understand the seriousness of this issue. This could have killed my girlfriend and I. I’ve been going here for years... I’ll never be back. More
Had my car ready right when they said they would, and they always do. The staff is always prompt and very professional and the service area is always clean. I have a high comfort level whenever I bring my car in for service. Most recently, it was for an oil change. My service manager efficiently prepared the work order. I waited in the very clean and comfortable waiting room, and pretty soon the job was done. I always appreciate the multi-point inspection report. It gives me peace of mind, and occasionally I am alerted to service work that needs to be performed at the next visit. More
