The waiting area was comfortable and seem Covid-19 compliant with hand sanitizer available and seating comfortably/safely distanced apart. The staff while wearing mask remained friendly courteous and helpful and were also mindful of Covid-19 prevention when handling my car. The service on my car was faster than the estimated time. Which was much appreciated. More

He was told that it could take up to tw My husband brought my Subaru in for service, no appointment was made, just needed an oil change, nothing more. He was told that it could take up to two hours, so he sat in the waiting area and waited. Once the work requested was completed, he paid for the oil change, he was advised that the drain plug had to be replaced and was not covered under the warranty. This is my third Subaru, how does a drain plug for oil get worn out? My vehicle is not even three years old, about 15,000 miles and it needs to be replaced...something is not right. My other Subaru vehicles never needed a drain plug and one of them was twenty years old and the other is six years old. When my husband questioned the cost of the drain plug, Marc advised him it was not covered as it is a wear and tear part. All of the vehicle’s oil changes were performed at Bay Ridge Subaru so that means their own techs were treating the drain plug a little rough or the drain plug was made of inadequate materials. Once my husband arrived home, I was very upset when I noticed there being some white powdery substance on two spots on the driver’s interior door, with an ongoing pandemic, one would think that the vehicle be wiped down/sanitized before returning to the customer. My husband didn’t notice the powdery substance on the door as he had his sunglasses on when he took return of my vehicle. I expect my vehicle to return from service as clean as I had left it, not worse. More

I went in for a recall repair and was told it would take about an hour. So I made an appointment for noon when I got there they said the car wouldn’t be ready till 4pm. I said maybe we need to do it another about an hour. So I made an appointment for noon when I got there they said the car wouldn’t be ready till 4pm. I said maybe we need to do it another day. They said leave it we will give you a loaner just bring it back gassed up. I did and than a week later they charged me NY state and POrt Authorities charges. No one ever advised me of these charges before hand. Pretty bad and deceptive service. More

Recall servicing Was called beforehand to setup an appointment for open recall of two issues that I forgot about. At service center Kayla was courteous and attentive Was called beforehand to setup an appointment for open recall of two issues that I forgot about. At service center Kayla was courteous and attentive throughout. Said it would up to two hours ended up being one and half. Also did a courtesy point to point inspection with no issues found. Lately been coming to this site for NYS inspections and an oil change and they never disappoint. More
