Servicing an OLD Subaru My car is from 2001 and has 216,000 miles on it. The service has always been friendly, competent and desirable. Everyone was very helpful My NYS inspection was coming up, but we also had some questions about the rattling and sometimes a scraping sound in our car. We told the technician w My NYS inspection was coming up, but we also had some questions about the rattling and sometimes a scraping sound in our car. We told the technician what is sounded like and where the sound was coming from. They were able to take a look and found a band that snapped and a bolt/clamp that broke. They fixed it, gave me an oil change, did the inspection, and reassured me the scraping sound is probably some rusting around the brake rotors (I think this is it, sorry, I'm not well versed with cars, but I'm pretty sure that's what it was) and that it would go away with more driving. Everyone was professional and my questions were answered. More
