BUYER BEWARE! I bought a used 2021 Toyota Camry SE from this dealership in April 2026. By late July, about three months and roughly 2,000 miles later, the check-engine light and several safety-system warnings appeared, and the car developed a rough startup. I ultimately paid $6,964.92 out of pocket for a used replacement engine and picked the car up after the work was completed on August 7. I had just been stationed in Maryland and needed a car within my first week. This was my first vehicle purchase, and I did not have much time or personal guidance beyond the research I could do online. Bayside appeared to have mostly positive ratings, so I believed I was buying from a reputable dealership. My experience turned out to be the exact opposite of what those ratings led me to expect. There were warning signs beyond the engine. After the purchase, I discovered a damaged and worn-through area in the driver's-side floor covering that had not been pointed out or disclosed to me before the sale. When I raised the issue, the general manager suggested that a larger previous occupant may have worn through it with their foot. I accept that I was a first-time buyer and should have inspected the car more carefully, but I did not expect to have to search every hidden area for damage that the dealership had not mentioned. When the dashboard warnings appeared, I contacted Bayside. They offered to diagnose the car at no charge, but the conversation repeatedly focused on whether I had purchased an extended warranty. I was explicitly told that because I did not have one, they would not help with the repair costs and that I should expect to pay out of pocket. To be precise, I did not return the car to Bayside for their complimentary diagnosis. After being told that financial assistance was unlikely regardless of what was found, I was not comfortable relying on Bayside as my only source of diagnosis. I took the car to Koons Toyota Annapolis instead. Koons documented a cylinder 2 misfire and told me that pressure testing and a borescope showed coolant entering cylinder 2. I was initially quoted more than $6,000 for major head-gasket work, with the possibility of additional costs if further internal damage was discovered. Because a used replacement engine was available for nearly the same amount, I paid $6,964.92 to replace the engine. I understand that Bayside's written 30-day/1,000-mile warranty had expired and that I did not purchase an optional extended service contract. I am not claiming that Bayside knew about the engine condition or intentionally concealed it, because I do not have evidence proving that. My one-star rating is based on the vehicle I received and the response I received when it suffered a catastrophic internal-engine problem within about three months and roughly 2,000 miles. During my conversations with Bayside, I received no offer of financial assistance, goodwill contribution, cost sharing, repurchase, or any other meaningful resolution. The response centered on the fact that I had not purchased an extended warranty. It is now September, and I am also experiencing additional drivability symptoms that may be transmission-related. That issue has not yet been conclusively diagnosed, so I am not stating that the transmission has failed. I will update this review if I receive a written diagnosis. This was not an ordinary maintenance expense. I bought a 2021 Camry, drove it roughly 2,000 miles, and then had to spend nearly $7,000 replacing its engine. I also dealt with rental expenses, transportation problems, downtime, and considerable financial stress shortly after arriving in a new state. In my opinion, a reputable dealership should have done more in a situation this extreme, even if the short written warranty had expired. That could have included a meaningful goodwill contribution, cost-sharing proposal, or another serious attempt to reach a reasonable resolution. I do NOT recommend this dealership. More

I purchased a brand-new Jeep from Bayside Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Annapolis in January 2025. Just a few months later, I discovered a non-impact crack on the windshield that originated from the base — a clear sign of a manufacturing or stress defect. Since the vehicle is still under warranty, I brought it to Bayside for what I assumed would be straightforward warranty service. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but professional. The service rep, Hannah, quickly snapped photos of the windshield to submit a warranty claim but refused my offer to move the vehicle to a shaded area so the crack could be photographed clearly — resulting in sun glare and poor images that failed to show the issue accurately. She seemed in a rush and did not take the time needed to properly document the problem. As expected, the claim was denied, and when I followed up a week later, I offered to bring the car back in for better photos. Instead of helping, Bayside refused, saying they would only resubmit the same flawed photos. They said they’d talk to their GM about working something out — but I never received a callback. After waiting over two months, I called again and was told by the service department that they would not do anything to help me. I asked to speak to a manager or the GM and was bluntly refused. I was told there was "nothing they were willing to do." This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I bought a brand-new vehicle with the expectation of being treated with integrity, especially when warranty issues arise. Instead, I received rushed service, poor communication, and zero accountability. Buyer beware — once they sell you the car, you’re on your own. I would not recommend Bayside Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to anyone based on their lack of support, customer service, and refusal to stand by their product. More

Exceptional Experience - A True Testimony to "Simple. Honest. Fair." After visiting five other dealerships, I was almost ready to settle, but I'm so glad I didn't. My experience at Bayside Chrysler Do Honest. Fair." After visiting five other dealerships, I was almost ready to settle, but I'm so glad I didn't. My experience at Bayside Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram of Annapolis was unparalleled. From the moment I walked in, Joe Ward, Product Specialist, and Kenny Cresswell, General Manager, treated me with the kind of professionalism and genuine respect I had only encountered at high-end luxury dealerships like Mercedes-Benz. I came in with a pre-approval from Navy Federal and pricing from another dealership. Rather than dismissing the information or pressuring me, Kenny took the time to review everything carefully and, like magic, put together a deal that far exceeded my expectations. It wasn't just about getting a vehicle. It was about how I was treated throughout the process with transparency, patience, and integrity. Joe was equally phenomenal--knowledgeable, friendly, and committed to making sure I had everything I needed without a hint of pressure. He listened. He followed up. He delivered. The Bayside team's commitment to their promise, "Simple. Honest. Fair." is not just a slogan. It is the standard they live by. After this experience, it is not just a dealership I will return to, but one I will recommend without hesitation. Thank you, Bayside, Joe, and Kenny. You have earned a customer for life. More
