It was during a recall they broke my windshield wiper motor. It worked perfectly fine until Beaman got hold of it. Then it started having problems and eventually went out. I drive very little and that's motor. It worked perfectly fine until Beaman got hold of it. Then it started having problems and eventually went out. I drive very little and that's why I didn't notice it immediately. I drive fewer than 5,000 miles a year, and try to avoid driving in bad weather. It finely went out completely. I brought it back to Beaman to fix it. They kept it for 11 days and charged me around $1,100.00. Again, I drive very little and a few months later the wiper motor went out completely. This time I took it to a different mechanic and was told that the windshield wiper motor was the original. So, not only did Beaman break my windshield wiper motor, they fraudulently charged me for a new one. I wanted to sue Beaman, but friends convinced me that it would be more trouble than it was worth. Lee Beaman was the owner at the time and as far as I'm concerned he owes me: $1,100.00 for fraudulently charging to fix the windshield wiper motor, and another $1,100.00 for what I had to pay an honest, competent mechanic to actually fix it! I think these creeps deliberately target women, especially older women. BEWARE!!! More
I brought my 2009 Rav-4 in for service on March 12, 2024. for oil/filter change and a tire patch. The Service Advisor advised me of the technicians findings which was recommended: air and cabin filter, rep for oil/filter change and a tire patch. The Service Advisor advised me of the technicians findings which was recommended: air and cabin filter, replace spark plugs, replace drive belt, battery service, cleaning of the terminals. I had my car serviced six (6 months ago) in September 2023, yet the tech in September did not advise me of these things needed to be done. Filters are not going to get as filthy as they were (the tech text a photo) in 6 months. So why didn't the tech in September know this. Also the tech March 12, 2024 states the front struts need to be replaced. It seems the tech in September 2023 did not go a very good job. I am not PLEASED, when I bring my vehicle in for service I am trusting that the tech is fully trained and would advise me of what repairs are needed, THANKS to the tech on March 12, 2024 who made these recommendations, More
I had a standard oil change and tire rotation appointment that I set up online with Beaman in Nashville. I had my check engine light on and when I got there I asked them to see why it was on. I was told by that I set up online with Beaman in Nashville. I had my check engine light on and when I got there I asked them to see why it was on. I was told by the service rep that the total for my oil change/tire rotation was $100plus tax and I was then told that diagnostic for engine light was $90 plus tax. I was okay with that and asked her to have that done. I dropped my car off and left. I dropped my car off around 630am and did not hear back from anyone until around 3pm. When the service rep called me back she confirmed that they did diagnostic and an evap test due to the gas knob being loose. I never asked for an evap test. She then confirmed that the total for all service was $190plus tax. I asked her to confirm that I heard right and she said total was $190. I get to the dealership and the man there tells me my total is $359! That is not what the service rep told me and when I brought it to his attention he basically just said the diagnostic was $190 and oil change $100. I know I heard my service rep correctly when she said the total for all the service I had done was $190. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with Beaman in Nashville. You need to work on clear communication on what total cost is and make sure you ask permission before doing a $190 service. I asked for diagnostic test which I was told was $90. Very dissatisfied with the service from Beaman. More
I scheduled my car to have an oil change and tire rotation via the valet service. When I got my car back there was a large dent in it. I called dealership multiple times a day for 3 days. Every tim rotation via the valet service. When I got my car back there was a large dent in it. I called dealership multiple times a day for 3 days. Every time I was told that I would receive a call by the end of the day from the manager. A phone call never came. Waste of my time. I then took my car in person to the dealership to have the dent addressed. I was told how sorry they were and that the entire panel would be replaced. When I had scheduled to drop my car off at Beaman collision they couldn’t find any evidence of my appointment. 2 hours later Beaman collision got in contact with the dealership and confirmed the appointment. Waste of my time. After I was told by the dealership that the whole panel would be replaced, I go to pick up my car and find out that all they did was pull the dent. It is still visible and now it looks like my car had been in a wreck and half xxx repaired. All in all, my oil change/ tire rotation resulted in a dent in my car, 10+ hours of my time tracking down leads due to crappy communication, and a half xxx repair that has caused the value of my car to decrease. I could have paid less and went to a closer location but chose to go to the dealership but seriously considering if I will ever do again And also to make it even worse was accidentally told oh I see the rep coming back from lunch that was serving yours . I have been long time customer and sent many people over the years but not anymore More
Aug 24, had an appt for oil change and tire rotation at 12:00 noon. Asked how long and was told 2 1/2 to 3 hrs for just this little service. I waited because I had a free oil change for purchasing my truck 12:00 noon. Asked how long and was told 2 1/2 to 3 hrs for just this little service. I waited because I had a free oil change for purchasing my truck there. Waited 3 hrs and asked about the status. My advisor said it hadn’t been pulled in yet. I asked why he didn’t let me know earlier. Crickets. I got my truck back and left. Sad, that such a good dealership(in the past) has let the service dept go downhill. Just be honest and transparent. I ended up going to my local Valvoline Oil Change, and was in and out in 10 mins. Best experience ever. Beaman needs some major service themselves. This will only hurt your overall business More
Scheduled an appointment for service in advance, and selected I’ll be waiting. Arrived to the dealer and was told we would have to reschedule because they didn’t have time. This should have been seen on selected I’ll be waiting. Arrived to the dealer and was told we would have to reschedule because they didn’t have time. This should have been seen on the schedule ahead of time and the customer called. I took off work to have this done. There’s plenty of dealers in the area that would be happy to have this new Toyota owner. I won’t waste my time again with Beaman. More
Scheduled service with a service rep over the phone. Utilized the early drop off at 5am for my appointment at 6am. When I arrived back at 7:15am my vehicle had not moved. I went in to enquire and the Utilized the early drop off at 5am for my appointment at 6am. When I arrived back at 7:15am my vehicle had not moved. I went in to enquire and they had no booked appointment for me in their system. They (Corky) said he would put it in line (with an "I'm doing you a big favor, because you screwed up not us" tone) and that it would take 2.5 hrs. This is not the first time I have had issues with Beaman service or Corky. I don't understand why he hasn't been put in the dark parts cage away from people because he has zero customer orientation. Four years ago when I first started going to Beaman for service, I gave them an excellent rating, which was well deserved. However, something bad has happened with Service (I am looking at you Beaman Senior management). Don't even get me started about a mechanic keeping my custom lug key. Thanks for the promises to replace it, but you never did. I realized this morning that every time I go in I am expecting the worst. Beaman has delivered on that time and time again. This is a breakup message Beaman, hopefully others read this and won't make the same mistake I did. Good bye beaman. More
I’ve been a long time customer and have purchased many vehicles however will never buy any more vehicles there again. Apparently since the ownership change customer service does not exist. I had a schedu vehicles however will never buy any more vehicles there again. Apparently since the ownership change customer service does not exist. I had a scheduled service appointment for basic oil change and tire rotation for a given time. When I arrived was told it would be between 3 to 4 hours later before work could be done. Is the baiting and switching a customer or what? David Hudson HUDSON AUTOMOTIVE GROUP I ask the question what good is an appointment? Why buy a vehicle at your dealership with these free oil changes if you cannot provide the services? Found the service reps to be very unprofessional and refused to refer me to any managers More
