Yesterday I brought my 2018 Hyundai Elantra in for its 45,000 mile service. I was not happy when I arrived, and was less happy because I felt that the service pricing was not at all transparent. On the original paperwork that Kaylen handed me, nothing was itemized and the estimate was much higher that I expected it to be. Kaylen took the time to break down the charges for each line item. She was patient and helpful, and gave me the information that I needed to feel better about the cost of the service. The car was done within the estimated time frame, and as far as I can tell the technician did a good job on the car, and the car was returned to me clean, which was nice. Even though I did not buy my Elantra at Beaverton Hyundai, I have brought the car to Beaverton Hyundai for every oil change, tire rotation, and service since the car was new, because Beaverton Hyundai is much more convenient for me to get to than the dealership where I bought the car. The service department at Beaverton Hyundai have always treated me very well. I may disagree with their lack of pricing transparency, but I will continue to bring my car to the Beaverton Hyundai for service, as the customer service is very good. More
