Damaged my car and refuse to take reponsisibilty! I STRONGLY CAUTION AGAINST GETTING YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE!! I brought my car in to replace the coolant lines. They placed a clamp that was too small! I STRONGLY CAUTION AGAINST GETTING YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE!! I brought my car in to replace the coolant lines. They placed a clamp that was too small! on the lower coolant hose that is attached to the radiator. A month or so later, while on the highway, this hose detached from my radiator completely and all of my coolant came out of my vehicle causing my car to get dangerously hot. I pulled over as soon as I could, called for a tow truck, and waited a couple hours alone in a bad part of town, where a gentlemen took it upon himself to wait with me. When I got it home, my uncle looked underneath it and spotted the issue immediately. We tried to put on the old clamp discovering IT WAS TOO SMALL!! Got a new clamp, put it on, and put coolant back in. I called Honda who directed me to a manger, Mark Phillips, I was hoping that they would offer me a partial refund for the damage that they could have caused, my time that was wasted due to their oversight OF A CLAMP, and the distress that they caused me! I was a free oil change by the very generous Mark Phillips. I told them that I did not want them working on my car again. Asked if they could write me a check in the amount of the oil change.....THEY WOULDN'T EVEN DO THAT!!! I was going to leave it at that. But a couple weeks after all this, a couple days ago, my engine again got dangerously hot, WITH MY FRIENDS IN THE CAR THIS TIME!! Popped the hood checked coolant. All good. Heard a sizzling sound. Underneath my radiator cap, coolant was sizzling out of a crack in my radiator! Broke down and took it back to Honda. Explained the whole situation. Got directed to Mark Phillips again. AND AGAIN! NO APOLOGY, NOTHING!! FLAT OUT REFUSES TO ADMIT THAT THE FAULTY WORK THAT WAS DONE ON MY CAR COULD HAVE HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH MY RADIATOR!! I am going to keep trying to talk to whomever I can. I trusted that as a professional dealership they would do professional work. I felt good and had faith that my car was fixed. THEY HAVE CAUSED ME MORE DISTRESS AND STRESS THAN I CAN SAY!! You are a paycheck. If you take your car here just keep that in mind. You are nothing but incoming profit. More

However, I wanted to come back and update my rating, as once I talked to Scott, he stepped up and did the right thing. I am so thankful and relieved. I was so worried for my son's safety, and after speaking with Scott, they took care of the matter. It took a bit of work, and speaking to the right person, but in the end, they did right. A huge shout out to Scott, he really seemed to understand and care. Thank you Scott. Because of you, I am a happy mom, with my son in a safe vehicle. Long story short: I purchased a used truck from Bell Honda two weeks ago... I knew buying used, there may be cosmetic issues, but was assured there were no other issues, that the vehicle was mechanically sound.... However, there were a few safety issues. I was assured these would be fixed. Unfortunately, then I went through some heartache and grief trying to get these issues resolved, hence the reason for my original rating, and the deduction of one star. They have now done right by me, and I am so thankful and relieved. I appreciate a business doing the right thing, especially where safety is involved. Thank you so much Scott for being a stand up guy, and for changing my buying experience from a negative to a positive at Bell Honda. I look forward to a happy ending.
