Benzel-Busch Mercedes-Benz is the authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer at 28 Grand Ave in Englewood, NJ, family-owned by the Agresta family for nearly 50 years and part of the Benzel-Busch Family of Dealerships. We carry one of the region's largest selections of new and Certified Pre-Owned Mercedes-Benz vehicles, including AMG and Mercedes-Maybach, along with Mercedes-Benz EVs and vans. Our on-site AMG Performance Center serves drivers who want the full performance lineup, and our Certified Pre-Owned inventory passes a comprehensive Mercedes-Benz inspection. Service is handled by the Service Department at Benzel-Busch Mercedes-Benz, at the same address, with factory-trained Mercedes-Benz technicians, genuine Mercedes-Benz parts, and a Mercedes-Benz Certified Collision Center. We also operate the SMART Service Department for smart fortwo owners, gas and electric. Individual account representatives, customer loaner vehicles, and concierge service were pioneered here, and they remain part of how we work. We serve Englewood, Tenafly, Ridgewood, Fort Lee, Paramus, Edgewater, and drivers throughout Bergen County, Hudson County, and the New York metro area.
Established in 1962 Benzel-Busch Motor Car was founded in Englewood by Ziggy Benzel. In 1978 he sold it to Joseph Agresta, Sr., whose family had been in transportation since the early 1900s: blacksmiths in Southern Italy and then Hudson County, NJ, a Diamond T truck dealership under Arthur Agresta I, and, through AVA Leasing Inc., early pioneers of individual vehicle leasing when the major finance companies did not yet offer it. Joe brought that service philosophy to Mercedes-Benz retail and introduced individual account representatives, customer loaner vehicles, roadside assistance and concierge service well before the industry adopted them. He also put the dealership to work in the community, supporting local charities, sports leagues, schools and hospitals. His children run the business today as the Benzel-Busch Family of Dealerships: Benzel-Busch Mercedes-Benz in Englewood, Mercedes-Benz of Orange County in Harriman, NY, and Genesis of Englewood, with Maybach and smart added along the way.

My original callto inquire about purchasing a Mercedes was with Phil Battaglino. Phil was incredibly responsive and instrumental in coordinating who we should contact at Benzel-Busch. Within an hour of our conversation, Lou gallo contacted me. From the onset, Lou truly made this an effortless experience for my wife and I. Aside from his knowledge and professionalism, Lou was personable, expeditious and accomodating. Thank you Lou for everything. Deej Hollad was also extremely helpful. She was both knowledgeable and personable. In fact, she presented us with some options that at the end of the day were of great value ad savings. Furthermore, her review of the car's functions and systems was easy to follow. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with everyone at Benzel-Busch. More

THE WORST. Sold me a r350 that spent no less than 4 months in the shop with various issues. Dealership made to attempt to remedy my situation. Rented me a camry. So I'm paying for a benz and driving a months in the shop with various issues. Dealership made to attempt to remedy my situation. Rented me a camry. So I'm paying for a benz and driving a used camry. Liars. Downright thieves. Promised to pay for some of the payments while the car was undriveable. Never did. But did try to use the issue to sell me a new car. Promising a "great deal" fopr all teh trouble I dealt with. Found a better deal at the dealership down the block from me. More

I had a deal for a new car. After spending hours at the dealership and countless emails before, we had agreed to a price and the exact specifications of the car. At the dealership, I even shook hands with dealership and countless emails before, we had agreed to a price and the exact specifications of the car. At the dealership, I even shook hands with both David and his manager after the terms were agreed to. Afterwards, out of no where they demand a $10,000 deposit. Not only was no deposit requirement previously mentioned, outside of the typical fees and 1st month's payment, but the amount seemed incredibly high and well above what any other dealership was asking. To spring an uncommon (and I would argue ridiculous) requirement after a deal had been verbally agreed to was very unprofessional in my opinion, and is the reason why I do not wish to work with this dealership anymore. It is an old salesperson trick, slip in something at the last second while the buyer is still euphoric about the new purchase. Apparently, this dealership thinks its customers are dumb enough to fall for it. More

I worked with Michael Hill on the lease of a 2011 ML350. Michael was fantastic during the entire process. He did an excellent job in searching for vehicles outside of his current inventory and was exceptionally responsive when our initial vehicle fell through. Michael displayed excellent customer service throughout this experience and was available via work phone, cell phone and e-mail. He provided updates on the scheduled delivery and even delivered the truck directly to my wife's office. I highly recommend Michael and look forward to dealing with him in the future. More

After we decided to purchase a ML350 we started a quotation online. Michael send me all the information we needed and with a very competitive price. He's also very patient with us on all of the questions we have. At first we were hesitated to go to him because we live in Long Island and we had the big snow blizzard. However, after talking with a few local dealers we were very upset and felt like we wasted our time. Some dealerships have "online promotion department" but they are talking totally different languages from the real sales person that you meet at the dealership. The excitement of buying a new car turned into a angry argument with the local dealers. Michael, on the other hand, is beyond our expectation. He worked hard with us to make sure we get all the information we need before our visit and when we were in his office the brand new car is waiting for us! We paid the price as we discussed previously and then the only thing left is to take this new baby home. The very next day Michael called me to make sure I'm happy with everything. That's what I call professional. Will definitely recommend him to my friends if they are interested in any Mercedez. More

The entire experience was superior to other Mecedes and BMW dealerships. I visited them all. I started the relationship here with a web inquiry. It turned several visits for myself and later my wife. They thing that separated this dealership is the one to one cooperation with fulfulling what is best for me.I ended up buying a previously enjoyed vehicle that was perfect but a long way from what I thought I wanted. Michael is a very honest person. The price we set though email is the final price we paid. There is no extra gimmick. The financing and the paperwork is very smooth. Joe Simsek was unfailingly polite and totally knowlegable regarding all aspects of the car. He found us the vehicle we were loking for and kept us apprised during the search.
