This vehicle is a certified used or pre-owned vehicle. There were some misinformation provided, although I do not know where the miscommunication on the part of the dealership occurred. I inquired whether the oil and fuel filter was changed and was notified that the dealership change all fluids are changed because they were not certain if the vehicle was properly serviced. Due to circumstances the dealership decided to deliver the vehicle to me in Texas. When the vehicle arrived I checked the oil and it obviously had not been changed. I subsequently had the the oil and filter changed at a Ram dealership in Texas the day after receiving the vehicle. When I returned to New Orleans I checked the fuel filter it had not been changed. I changed the fuel filter personally. There is no apparent evidence that the transmission fluid and filter was changed. This is very concerning since it is obvious that the tow hitch had been well used and I am quite certain that the vehicle was used to tow some sort of trailer due to the wear of the tow bar receiver. Not knowing how much the vehicle was used for towing in the 30,000 plus miles, it would be prudent to have the transmission serviced. I am extremely disappointed, that the transmission fluid and filter had not been changed especially since the transmission manufacturer, ZF, recommends transmission servicing between 50,000 and 70,000 miles under normal operating conditions. The elevated summertime temperatures in New Orleans is not consider normal operating conditions and add towing in elevated temperatures has always been consider severe operating conditions and more frequent transmission service is required. I would have given the Dealership five stars had they in fact changed the the fluids and filters as they had indicated had been accomplished prior to receiving the certified vehicle. I have spent nearly $400.00 on services that had been accomplished prior to delivery. If the dealership does not service the transmission service and several other minor service items it will have cost me over $1,000.00 for the services they indicated were preformed. This was a $60,000 + used vehicle, with over 30,000 miles I do not think it to be unreasonable expectation for a "CERTIFIED" vehicle to have good windshield wipers, air filters, engine oil and filter, Transmission fluid and filter changes and/or replaced on a CERTIFIED vehicle. The finance department also provide incorrect information on the vehicle warranty. Presumably to sell more add-ons. one expects to have the finance department to sell additional add-ons, but blatantly providing inaccurate warranty information is not acceptable. More

Overall good experience purchasing, and Jesse Fonseca was great to work with. He was one of the best sales reps I've ever had -- polite, knowledgeable, personable, intelligent, and conscientious. The jury is still out on the service department. We gave this dealership one more try, but if we get a repeat experience on service, this will be our last vehicle purchase here. It takes too long to get an appointment, our vehicle was in the shop for at least three weeks because two issues were not coordinated very well, and when service advisors say they're going to call you tomorrow, it's like someone tells you "The check is in the mail."
