excellant service The appointment came quickly on my short notice request. All service was completed in a timely manner, even extra checks were made with no problems. Problem not resolved after appx.. $4400.00 in charges. While on vacation from SC experienced a problem with the vehicle feeling like it was attempting to shift gears when no need for shift was indicated. Left vehicle for the week to determine issues and repair. After a call to me a new torque converter was installed at appx. Cost of $4400.00. Within 15 minutes of picking the vehicle up (Sat. Afternoon after Service team was gone) the same issues as originally reported occured. I immediately left a voicemail for Kyle S. Documenting the issue. Drove the vehicle home to Mt. Pleasant, SC with the identical problem occurring as initially reported. Called Kyle S. On Monday. Very little comfort from the conversation. Generally, he indicated that perhaps I had a different issue occur. Upon my questioning, he indicated that if the replacement converter was found to be defective his dealership would stand behind the replacement. Other than that possibility, it appeared that I was on my own. Clearly there was no recognition that perhaps the wrong work had been done on the vehicle. I now have the vehicle at Mt. Pleasant Mercedes to determine the real issue with the vehicle and repair. On to another concern. Kyle indicated on our first phone conversation that my vehicle needed service - brake fluid changed, fuel filter changed, air filters changed, etc. I informed him that I had the required maintenance performed in April 2019 as I have done during the lifetime of the vehicle. I have the work performed at an auth. Mercedes repair facility in Mt. Pleasant using only Mercedes parts. The work is recognized by our local Mercedes dealership. I further informed him that all documentation of services performed on the vehicle were in the glove box. Totally ignoring the information I provided Kyle, he indicated on the repair information sheet that maintenance on the vehicle was not performed. Had the maintenance dept. taken a look it would have been apparent the required maintenance had been performed. Obviously, I am very concerned about the failed work and lack of appropriate customer care demonstrated by your dealership. Hopefully, I will receive a better reception by escalating my concerns higher than the local Roanoke dealership. More
