Berkeley Ford is about 41 minutes from our house but we were in the area and stopped to see if we could find a newer car for our family. we looked at some other dealerships in the area and felt frustrated were in the area and stopped to see if we could find a newer car for our family. we looked at some other dealerships in the area and felt frustrated after each one. when we arrived at Berkeley ford we told them what we wanted and they worked hard to give us everything wanted in a car and then some for around the same price! great service and sales team. You reviewed in the last week Quality Poor to fair You reviewed in the last week Quality Poor to fair Appeal Good Service Poor to fair THE SERVICE DEPT IS AWSOME BUT THE SALES STAFF, IN PERTIC You reviewed in the last week Quality Poor to fair Appeal Good Service Poor to fair THE SERVICE DEPT IS AWSOME BUT THE SALES STAFF, IN PERTICULAR CATHY IS A SNAKE.....WE PURCHASED A USED CAR FROM THEM IN JULY AND THEY ASKED US IF WE WANTED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY AND WE SAID YES......THEY DIDNT GO INTO ANY DETAILS ON THE WARRANTY WE PURCHASED......THE CAR DEVELOPED A BAD OIL LEAK AND WE TOOK IT IN TO FIND OUT THAT AFTER 5 MONTHS WE WERE ONLY 63 MILES AWAY FROM THE WARRANTY EXPIRING.....IF I HAD DROVE THE CAR 1 MORE DAY THEN I WOULD HAVE BEEN SCREWED......THEY CHARGED US 2000 DOLLARS FOR THE WARRANTY AND IT HAD A 200 DOLLAR DEDUCTABLE WHICH WE WERE NOT EVEN GIVEN A CHOICE THEN TO TOP IT OFF , I GOT GOING THRU THE PAPER WORK AND I HAD NOTHING ON THE WARRANTY THAT WE PURCHASED......WHEN WE TAKE THE CAR IN FOR THE REPAIR AND COMPLAIN WHEN WE FOUND OUT THE WARRANTY THAT WE WERE SOLD THEN THEY GO TO OUR FILE AND IN THE FILE WAS OUR COPY OF THE WARRANTY.....THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT HAS INFORMED US THAT WE WERE SCREWED.......ON TOP OF THAT THEY DONT EVEN HAVE THE TOOLS TO FIX OUR CAR SO NOW I HAVE TO GO BACK UP THERE AND PICK UP MY CAR AND DRIVE IT TO A VOLKSWAGON DEALER TO HAVE FIXED..............IVE BEEN CAR SHOPPING FOR A SECOND CAR THIS WEEK AND I WOULDNT EVEN CARE TO GIVE BERKELEY FORD A CHANCE FOR MY BUSINESS More
