Over a month and dealership could not fix my 2017 BMW that needed a $125 part. Brought my BMW in on 11/11 for a stalling issue. Over 3 hours for testing was told the part had to be ordered. Service ad that needed a $125 part. Brought my BMW in on 11/11 for a stalling issue. Over 3 hours for testing was told the part had to be ordered. Service advisor then left the dealership. Spent over 30 minutes talking with the parts department who had no clue. Followed up with service manager who lied and said part was ordered and in but we was not able to get me in for service for over 10 days. Calling a few days before to verify that the part was in no adviser could verify and never returns calls as promised. Text message the day before my appointment I responded postpone until someone can verify my part was in. Received a call back before 3pm on Friday and was told part was not in but I would receive a call back on Monday that it was too late in the day for follow up. Never received that call. Ended up taking my car elsewhere and was diagnosed with the same issue, part ordered and installed the next day. Not my frist visit to Bert Smith BMW but will be my last. Service manager and advisers should all be fired for inabilty to do a simple job and lying. My total repair cost else where was 50% lower in cost coming in under $250. This repair was a simple fix Bert Smith BMW could not handle. More
Not satisfied at all. A body shop job at the Collision Not satisfied at all. Got the car back 2 months ago and my ac went still smells like glue after a windshield replacement. I don’t know what I’m breathing in every day! According to them, they received a bad glue from BMW what won’t dry I’m 30 miles away from the dealership and they won’t provide a a loaner so I don’t know what to do! More

GREAT experience dealing with BMW Service staff and my advisor Mirnes. They performed the work in a timely manner and even washed and vacuumed my car. I highly recommend using them for Service and ask for advisor Mirnes. They performed the work in a timely manner and even washed and vacuumed my car. They said the passenger rear tire was not able to calibrate, due to evidence of a past accident. Oddly my Carfax was clean so that’s interesting. I called GM Bobby.. He was short and pretty stand off. He said the car fax was clean and still is to this day… I asked how a Luxury dealership did not inspect a vehicle, and catch this before putting into their inventory to sell. Bobby stated, “they perform a road test”, basically an employee drives it down the street and calls it good. Please explain why it cost $797 for a delivery fee. No new tires, no safety inspection clearly. My concern is the vehicles safety. Bobby refused to perform a safety inspection that I previously paid for(pre delivery). Instead insultingly said he’d discount a safety inspection for me. It’s about $250 Really that’s a spit in the face. Alfa would perform service at $75 an hour. Bret Smit is selling a Rip off. After you sell me a car that multiple service stations say has accident damage (not caused by me). All reading, just beware that any pre owned vehicles there could also be hiding issues. I wanted to be a return customer, but now I can’t say I trust your dealership at all. Sadly I recommend you to my clients, and my clients also bought multiple vehicles from you. Trust me now they will know about this situation. The minimum you could have done was, to at least perform a predelivery service(safety inspection) Seeing you clearly didn’t . My sales man Cameron is still amazing he was fast to inform Bobby and also said I should contact carfax. When I asked Bobby for the original date the carfax was pulled, so I can try to have carfax do their buy back guarantee. Bobby aggressively answered “ I’m NOT BUYING BACK YOUR VEHICLE” I had to say clam down I said carfax. Overall just a dirty feeling and uneasy feeling knowing the car I Purchase from a luxury car dealership was in an accident prior to their take over and they got fooled. Now I’m stuck paying for their negligence. More
My car has been in for service more times than I care to mention. Sucks, right? I've said it before, I rarely have to wash my car because it will be in the shop for some warranty repair reason and service a mention. Sucks, right? The car has been a pain, but it is what it is... My 5-star review is for the service personnel. Literally, the ONLY reason I'm still with BMW is because of Mirnes and the service department. I was really disappointed that my original service advisor Evan left, but Mirnes took over my account and is amazing! I've thought of purchasing a different car, (not BMW) but I really enjoy my service experience at Bert Smith. I don't want to go somewhere else and have bad service. Gerri in the loaner car department is always very kind to me, as is Gary, who brings up the cars and often picks me up when my car is ready. Cars break- that's what warranties are for. The people that help you through it make it a much better experience. Thank you Bert Smith BMW service for always being so kind and helpful. I'm sure I'll unfortunately be seeing you soon! More
