Bert Smith BMW fall short! I had two recalls serviced on my BMW at Bert Smith BMW and they broke my glove compartment lock in the process. They said they would install it for free but that I had to purchase the replacement part for about $69.00. If they broke it, why do they expect me to pay for the replacement? I walked out very unhappy with a broken glove compartment lock... I'm new in town and I will never use Bert Smith again. More

Maintenance is a very different story, I had nail on a run flat tire on my X3, I tried to call the service department but I could never reach anyone. Decided to drive there after work, I was informed that my tire needed to be ordered and the install would not take more than 45 minutes. Since I could not be there at the timed agreed upon and no loaner vehicles where available, I asked my wife to take the vehicle for the replacement. She was at the dealership for almost 3 hours! No one talked to her, updated her or even attempted to apologize for the delay. when I got home from work I took a look at the vehicle and noticed how dirty and covered in light brown grease (from the tire mount) the rim was. I expect more from a luxury brand, maintenance and professionalism is what keeps customers like me loyal to a brand, not the sales and the brand itself. More

Based on how was consistently treated at my local dealership I planned on going with another brand. However, the professionalism, courtesy, patience and overall customer service I found at Bert Smith restored my faith in how a dealership should work with a customer. Specifically, Bobby Haines, Greg Miller and Jerry provided professionalism, brand knowledge and customer service that I had not come across in many, many years. The end result was keeping us in the BMW family, and matching us with a lease that we may very well keep after the term ends. Others can learn a thing or two from these guys (Bobby, Greg, Jerry), and how Bert Smith BMW operates. More

Mirnes is always pleasant, polite and attentive. I live in Apollo Beach and make the drive to Bert Smith because of people like Mirnes, Fred (who retired) and Jeri, who took over for Fred in the Car Loaner Section. As a very satisfied customer I would recommend Bert Smith service department to others. More
Horrible Customer Service $1800 and still not repaired. Rude Service writer When I arrived for my service appointment I was a mear 7 minutes late due to having taken a wrong turn. The service writer that I was assigned had left for lunch already but the attendant said he would get someone else to get my car in for the scheduled service. I went to the waiting area and after not being spoken to for about 40 minutes I walked to the service desk and saw that my car had not been moved. A service writer was there and was actually looking at my paperwork. When I asked him about what the hold up was and if they could get my car done in the 90 minute time frame he became very RUDE and stater "I am only doing you a favor to get your car in". Last time I check the customer should not have to depend on someone to "do them a favor" to get work done. I promptly did him a favor and left with my car and will be getting the service done some where else. I am new to the area and will not be going back to this dealership for anything. More
