I gave Bert Smith a high rating becuase they did exactly what I asked them to do do for me. I asked my sales associate to give me a fair price quote without hours of needless negotiations. He had an offered prepared in advance as soon as we finished the test drives. They let me test drive whatever car I wished and when it came time to custom order my car, they never questioned my choices or tried to sell me things I didn't want. Tony Cheung (my sales advisor) did have an answer for me on every question and did go through every single option and explain them all to me during the order process. Tony kept me updated hrough the entire process of ordering the car. When the car arrived, they had all the paper work ready. There was not one change in the terms or one cent difference in the price I had agreed to over the two months that had passed since the car was ordered. It was the fastest paperwork signing upon delivery of any of the ten plus new cars I have bought. My sales associate went back over all the features of my car again before we left the dealership. I was so happy with my experience that my girlfriend bought a new BMW X1 from Mr. Cheung two weeks after I picked up my BMW 328i. In the end, I felt like my sales advisor has become a business associate or even a friend. I was actually returning my leased BMW from NJ to Bert Smith because we moved to Florida I was planning on going back to Mercedes Benz because of my bad experience with BMW financing. Just an overall bad experience. Felt like I was being treated dishonestly. It ended up needlessly costing me out of pocket. The Service Department at Bert Smith BMW has gotten so much worse during the last 12 months. The service advisers have no customer service skills and are always so eager to get clients out of the door. Th much worse during the last 12 months. There is absolutely no care for customer relationships or satisfaction. Personally, I have taken my car in for the same problem multiple times and it still has not been fixed completely. On one occasion, the service assistant manager had the nerve to pull out the owner's manual out of my trunk and read two (2) pages to me as if I am a child. This service department is a very poor example of what BMW wants its customers to think of the brand. It is very disappointing, but they are the only BMW dealer in town. Maybe that is why they think they can treat their customers as if they do not matter. More
