My grandmother purchased her car here in March of 2019. She was transferring her plates from her previous vehicle and Bertera knew this. When she went to pick up her vehicle they had different plates on th She was transferring her plates from her previous vehicle and Bertera knew this. When she went to pick up her vehicle they had different plates on the car. She informed them that they were incorrect and Joe Fearn couldn’t find her plates and needed to locate them. Once they were located they called her and told her to come in so they could put them on and they could also mail them to her. They were mailed and they asked her to return the plates they put on to the DMV(Enfield, CT). She returned the plates to the DMV once she got her plates put back on her vehicle. Everything seemed to go smooth..until she got her car tax this year and she found out that her vehicle was STILL registered to the plates the dealer put on. She called Bertera and they told her too bad, not their problem (she spoke with the GM & he informed her Joe Fearn was no longer employed there). She’s in her 70’s and we are in the middle of a pandemic and they want her to go back to the DMV to fix what they should have done right in the first place. She’s beside herself with this mistake and when she found out and called the DMV they told her she was driving illegally for a year and she better hope she doesn’t get pulled over because she could be arrested. This is a dealership that I wouldn’t ever trust and I’d recommend you shouldn’t either unless you like a bunch of screw ups taking care of You. More

PLEASE do not go there. HORRIBLE!!!! Liars! So unprofessional. Took car for test drive. Asked if our private mechanic could check it out. No problem. We did. Came back. Thumbs up. Price of the car increased. What? Showed AJ, our salesman, the Ad. Nope. No way. Told AJ car needed new tires. Shady business was. But Em wanted the car. Was called and texted multiple times to see if we decided on the car. We did. There was a deposit on it. After several texts the my family ( all 3 of us), I called AJ. He said, “someone wants that car. I need to know if you are I or out@. We were in! Although we didn’t really want to deal with this company. Contacted AJ by e-mail, text and call..... to make arrangements for Monday to sign papers. No return call. By this time, we decided not to deal with them. So not worth the hassle. Called first thing Monday morning, AJ not in yet. He called me at 11:45 and said “car sold Griday afternoon”. I skied why he had to notified Em and to make arrangement to get deposit back. AJ said “ I didn’t know how to read h her”. Yeah right!!! But in meantime, I called to speak to Brian Yarrows “ the Chevy guy”. FuJack answered. Very nice. Put me through to Brian, but voicemail picked up..11:45.am. Called back at 4:45. Got Matt. Asked if Brian was in the showroom or on site. Matt began to ask multiple questions. Asked to speak to Brian. Called t through to voice evil. It has been 9 days...... never heard bs k from Chevy guy!!!!!! DON’T deal with this facility. We ended buying another car the next day....... awesome experience!!!! More

The only problem I have is that when I went in to have the battery serviced for corrosion on the battery terminals they told me they could cleanup the corrosion..But when I receive the service papers in t the battery serviced for corrosion on the battery terminals they told me they could cleanup the corrosion..But when I receive the service papers in the mail it says that I refused a service which may void my warranty..I never refused any service. they didn’t offered any other service.. I talked to Dan the salesman and he is supposed to be looking into it so we will see.. As for the initial sale of the car that went good. Dan was very good to deal with.. More
HORRIBLE Experience We were waiting most of a day for a call back to get the bank check amount for full payment on a vehicle. After several attempts to call, text and email we finally got a call. We were told that the vehicle was sold. We were then wrongly accused of not giving them all the information up front. When we asked to talk to someone in management the answer given was that they were busy. If a mistake was somehow made, at least own it and attempt to fix it. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More
