I bought a van here in the past and i thought as always it was because of the dealership that i got a good deal. But after buying this time with Dan i realized the sales man that gives the dealer it's good it was because of the dealership that i got a good deal. But after buying this time with Dan i realized the sales man that gives the dealer it's good reputation. He went above and beyond the duty I just want to say thanks Dan and thanks Berteria for having such people on your staff. A happy customer. From Craig A. Balderston More

Wanted a Jeep Wrangler but HATE the whole "buying a new car" trip. Dont want to argue or wheel & deal and I dont like being jerked around. Just by luck Dan S. (there are two Dans working there) had ans new car" trip. Dont want to argue or wheel & deal and I dont like being jerked around. Just by luck Dan S. (there are two Dans working there) had answered the phone when I called for appointment - still I went in with low expections. But Dan S. was great. Went over many Jeeps but they didnt have what options I wanted. They checked other dealerships too but nothing turned up I liked. I ended up ordering direct from the factory. Dan was really helpful and explained all the paperwork - tire plans, incentives. He also took care of the insurance and plates so I didnt have to go to the registry. In all it was a positive experence buying there and working with Dan S. I love my new Jeep and am glad I ordered it with just what I wanted. Ill let you know after my first oil change how the service department is. More

Bertera was our second stop in looking for a used Toyota. Having been put off by a larger dealer we were pleasantly surprised to meet Daniel and feel at once that he had our best interest at heart. He pres Having been put off by a larger dealer we were pleasantly surprised to meet Daniel and feel at once that he had our best interest at heart. He presented the cars that fit in our price range, took us for a test drive and explained features all without any pressure to buy. We were very impressed with his personal attention and knowledge about the cars as well as his great sense of humor and honesty. It was an easy decision to buy our car from Daniel because we felt a sense of trust that he would assist us in any way he could. We are new to this area and not only did Daniel help us with a car, he took time to tell us about great restaurants and places of interest in the community. We heartily recommend Daniel as a salesperson who is honest, fair and unbiased and because of his attention we will be bringing this car back to Bertera for all it's service needs. More
Overall, the experience w/ Bertera Jeep in West Springfield, MA was very good. Initially I thought that it was going to be a lousy experience b/c I just stopped in to see what they had for used in Springfield, MA was very good. Initially I thought that it was going to be a lousy experience b/c I just stopped in to see what they had for used inventory (as I had stopped at literally every other dealer in the area that day) and the salesman who approached me, Danny Scheehser, seemed a bit pushy--pushy about looking at the inventory, answering questions, test driving, even talking financing, and I just wasn't ready for that at the time--but I soon realized that that was just who he was, he wasn't intentionally being pushy to "make the sale". Ultimately I really enjoyed working w/ Danny despite the quasi-pushiness; he was able to answer many of my questions immediately, but when I asked something he didn't know off the top of his head he was entirely honest about it and then went to get an answer for me and was back in no time; he listened to my whole story in regards to what had happened w/ my previous vehicle and what my situation was (both in general and financially) and what I wanted in a vehicle, and he took that information and used it to find out what they had in their inventory that met those needs, or whatever came as close as possible to meeting them. And he was successful. I got a great vehicle at an unbelievable price that offered more of the "wants" on my list than I thought possible. If you are able to understand Danny and how he does things and accept/appreciate his approach for what it is (simply put, it's that he actually does have your best interest at heart, as does the entirety of the dealership it seems…well, I haven't dealt w/ anyone but the sales department, so I can't speak to how the service department does things…yet) you'll ultimately end up having a better-than-expected experience AND you'll find a vehicle that suits your needs/wants at a price you can afford--and may even dumbstruck by! The one semi-negative thing about the experience was the repeated calls to do this survey, not that I mind doing the survey at all, as I truly believe that good service is just as deserving, if not more so, of open praise and positive feedback as poor service is deserving of open criticism and negative feedback, but I feel as though it could've been presented differently. Heck, I sat at a table on the salesfloor for an hour waiting to do the financial paperwork and I had an iPhone and an iPad that I could've taken the survey on (although I hadn't yet experienced the entirety of the process, nor did I officially own the vehicle), or they could've given me a nicely presented and well-written "invitation" to share my thoughts on my experience with the rest of the paperwork I got when it was all said and done. Regardless of that last paragraph, however, it was a good experience overall and I'm happy I stopped that first day; Danny is a good guy and really does seem to have his customers' best interest(s) at heart. When it's time for a new vehicle it's very likely that I'll be heading back to Bertera Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep. More
Bought brand new town and country. As we left the lot, gas light came on. Tank was empty and so was the washer fluid. We were also told we had a phone in the car, but after asking a Verizon store represen gas light came on. Tank was empty and so was the washer fluid. We were also told we had a phone in the car, but after asking a Verizon store representative to assist me as I could not set it up, discovered it in fact did not have bluetooth. Went in and spoke to manager in February (purchased in January), and he contacted the service dept. with us. However, it is now June 30 and after repeatedly calling them back as they do not call us, we are still without the phone. When we bought the car we were also told it did not matter if the van was just in my husband's name. Unfortunately, now we have discovered that if something happens to him I will have to get the registration redone in my name. At that point, the extended warranty we purchased on the new vehicle for it's lifetime may be in jeopardy as the ownership cannot be transferred. *Just received a call and will be able to get phone installed next week. Our salesman set it up today after learning of our difficulties with it and we are very happy it is being taken care of. Service Dept. installed a bluetooth with no charge and did a great job. Also had excellent assistance at the desk, as we also have had when bringing van in for oil changes. Sales manager and service representative both were also spoke to us at length and explained some of the customer courtesies were cut by Chryster Corp. hence no gas. They were very concerned about the problems we had and assured us that we would receive a manager's assistance should we ever have any questions or problems again. More

We just had a baby boy, and my husband's truck could not accomodate a infant car seat. Chris set us up in a Jeep Liberty, which we love. Any little issues we had with the car were quickly fixed and all in all we were pleased with the transaction. More
