I had two problem with your dealership. 1) On the day we came to pick up our car, your business manager made us wait 45 minutes, even though we had an appointment set up in advance. I think this was extremely rude. 2) We asked you to install a trailer hitch and a bicycle rack. You installed the wrong trailer hitch and did not install the bicycle rack. When we got home, we found something was wrong, and are having to come back twice to get this fixed. On the plus side, however, your salesman, Max Salvatore, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, friendly and informative. Our experience with him was top rate. This is the third car we have bought from a Bertera deadlership. We bought two Mercury Sable wagons. My experience purchasing a vehicle at Bertera Subaru is the way it should be everywhere. Purchasing a vehicle, new or used is supposed to be a fun experience, however, over the years, it has become almost the way it should be everywhere. Jonathan Birriel was VERY HELPFUL! He explained all the features of the Forrester we bought and was very calm and not pushy! When I was buying a used car I decided to look at Bertera Subaru in West Springfield, MA. Their stock is marginal at best and to own two other car Brand dealerships across the street, makes me think that Sub Subaru in West Springfield, MA. Today I had an oil change appointment scheduled for 1:00 pm. After arriving and handing off my car to the service people I waited in their "new" waiting area. While waiting for over 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation, I went back to ask what was taking so long and got no answers. I asked their 'Parts' Desk, if that's what you would like to call it, and they didn't have the replacement battery for my Keyless Entry system. The individual had already thrown my Old Battery old and had to dig through the garbage to locate the old one. After I left their location I noticed something was wrong with my vehicle that wasn't an issue when I dropped it off. I called and asked to schedule an appointment to get it looked at and the person assisting me was very rude and condescending. So if you do want to pay for service that you don't get, wait two hours for a scheduled oil change, and be pissed off every time you leave their service center, you should definitely go else where to purchase a Subaru. My 2001 Jetta finally died after 10 years so I was looking to purchase a new vehicle. I wanted to see what a Subaru was like and went to Bertera Subaru in West Springfield. I met with Nuno Marques a looking to purchase a new vehicle. I wanted to see what a Subaru was like and went to Bertera Subaru in West Springfield. I met with Nuno Marques and told him what I was looking for. I test drove the Legacy Sedan and really liked the vehicle. My main concern for my new vehicle was my comfort over time. I have a bad back and a 100 mile round trip commute to work each day. Nuno was excellent to work with and showed a genuine concern for my situation. I test drove different versions of the Legacy sedan three more times and I still could not be sure that the seat and the side leg room was going to work for me. Nuno and the Bertera dealership let me take a Legacy home for one night so I could make my commute to work with it. I was hesitant at first, but Nuno convinced me to do it. I was so surprised that a dealership would do this. It was the best thing I could have done. It saved me from making a mistake with the purchase of a car that was not going to work for me. I am very greatful to Nuno and Bertera for allowing me to do this. I did not buy a vehicle from Bertera so I cannot comment on price or vehicle service. But, I can say that it was one of the best dealership experiences I have had and Nuno Marques is the best car sales person I have ever dealt with. More

I received excellent service during my recent new car purchase. My salesman Nuno was very knowlegable about the Forester I purchased, worked with the parts department and service department to order and purchase. My salesman Nuno was very knowlegable about the Forester I purchased, worked with the parts department and service department to order and install the various accessories I purchased, and as I wasn't trading in my old car, even drove my old car back to my house for me after I picked up the new car. He also made clear after the sale that I should call him if I have any more questions about the vehicle after I got it home. I didn't use dealer financing and haven't personally used the service department yet so I can't comment on those. More
