I sold my vehicle to this dealership over a month ago and was told I would receive payment within 7–14 days. That seemed fair at the time, so I agreed. However, 15 days passed with zero communication from anyone. When I called to check in, I was told they hadn’t received the title yet and that I would get paid once it arrived. Then, without explanation, I was informed it would actually take 2–4 weeks before I’d see a check. Fast forward to four full weeks later — still no payment, no update, no courtesy call. I took it upon myself to contact my loan company, who confirmed that the title had already been released over a week prior. So clearly, the dealership had what they needed but was still dragging its feet. When I called again, I was bounced around from person to person until finally being told to speak with their DMV clerk. I left two detailed voicemails that day and never heard back. Later that afternoon, I called again and was told she had already left for the day. About 45 minutes later, she finally called me back — and instead of being helpful, she was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional from the start. She repeatedly talked over me, had an attitude the entire time, and actually said, “Since you’re refusing to listen to me, your check will be ready Monday at 11am.” That kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable — especially from someone representing a business that’s holding thousands of dollars of someone else’s money. The dealership has had the title electronically for over a week, but they’re refusing to release my payment because they want a paper copy — something my lender doesn’t even issue. That’s their internal process problem, not mine, and it’s completely unethical to delay payment because of their own inefficiency. This entire experience has been nothing but frustrating, unprofessional, and disrespectful. The lack of honesty, accountability, and basic communication is astounding. I would strongly urge anyone considering selling or buying a vehicle here to go elsewhere. There are plenty of dealerships that actually follow through on what they promise and treat customers with respect. This one clearly does not. More
I purchased a new 2025 Ford Maverick at this dealership. That was after initial negotiations with two other dealerships that could not come through with a deal for the color & package I wanted. I then de That was after initial negotiations with two other dealerships that could not come through with a deal for the color & package I wanted. I then decided to do an internet search for inventory at dealerships outside my immediate area and found the Maverick at Big Valley Ford. I was contacted by Michael, initially via chat, then by phone. I was expecting some tough price negotiations after I gave him my aggressive below MSRP offer. To my surprise, they agreed to my offer….no games and no sneaky dealer add-ons. We closed the deal the next day, when I was able to get to the dealership. Michael had the Maverick prepped and ready to go. The finance guy was great — all the paperwork went smoothly. My recommendation - go to Big Valley Ford and ask for Michael. You’ll get a great deal and no games! More

The last car I purchased was 25 years ago so to say I was a little apprehensive of going through the dealership experience would be an understatement. Fred Gates and everybody at Big Valley Ford made the ex a little apprehensive of going through the dealership experience would be an understatement. Fred Gates and everybody at Big Valley Ford made the experience an absolute breeze. No pressure, no sleazy sales tactics just honest discussions on the car and the best way for me to get it. I drove two hours to get the car of my dreams and I will definitely be coming back to them in the future. More
Can’t thank Aaron McDaniel enough for his help with the purchase of my Ford Explorer. Coming from a Chevy family and me having a Chevy for 10 years, it was hard to switch to Ford. But the vehicle, the pric purchase of my Ford Explorer. Coming from a Chevy family and me having a Chevy for 10 years, it was hard to switch to Ford. But the vehicle, the price, the trade in value and mileage on my Explorer just couldn’t be beat! It’s a great car that I know I’ll have for many, many years. I also wanted to give Ford my business for their patriotism during COVID. They answered the call during WWII to build bombers for the war effort and again now when our country asked them to make PPE. But I digress. Aaron worked serious magic for me and hustled to get the deal done. Tim Rubino is also great. He sold me my Tahoe from Big Valley Ford over 13 years ago. That was also a very solid purchase. Either of these gentlemen will do a great job for you. Everyone at the dealership I dealt with was fantastic and did everything in their power to make the process a positive experience. Love Big Valley Ford in Stockton, CA!!!! Thank you to all of you hard working folks there. More
