A very good experience overall. I would have given a rating of 5, but there were some minor incidents that detracted from the experience. For one, after the deal was done we were not congratulated on our purchase, or had shaken hands or anything of the kind. Granted I visibly got the Finance Manager, who lead us out, frustrated during the closing (it wasn’t confrontational, just not cooperative I guess - he was trying to sell us some additional insurance on the car, and I didn’t want to buy it, at least not for the price he was offering). Also the gas tank was almost empty when we got the tank – I could be mistaken, but my understanding it is a common courtesy to fill up the tank of the vehicle. There were also only two bolts per license plate on the car and my wife asked if two more per plate could be added for esthetic purposes – our understanding was that they will add some, but in the end they were not added and no one said anything about that to us. Once again, not a big deal, but we felt like we were promised something and didn’t get it. Another thing, that as a matter of principle almost broke the deal, was a missing accessory. During our initial shopping we pointed out that the Bluetooth dongle was missing and the way we understood it the dealership was going to provide it. When we came to pick up the car they said they didn’t have it (granted it was a MBenz at a BMW dealership). They were willing to lower the finance rate a little, so we worked it out in the end, but still a minor gripe. All in all the experience was very positive and I highly recommend this dealership and sales person Bill Earnest in particular (although we had Matt Laxton cover for Bill on our final visit and he seemed just as pleasant to work with). There are so many horror stories (as one might expect when two parties with competing interests are pitted against each other) when it comes to car shopping and our experience was on the opposite side of the spectrum – all things considered, it is difficult to imagine a more positive experience. Worst mechanical experience of all time. Brought my BMW 645 in because I had a trunk light coming on. I was told it would be covered under waranty, but of course it wasnt. Then I asked to also have an oil 645 in because I had a trunk light coming on. I was told it would be covered under waranty, but of course it wasnt. Then I asked to also have an oil change done, thinking it would be like $50. Yet it was a $250 oil change and I never was told that. Then I get my car back and it had a big scratch on the back and my custom $2000 radar detector wasnt working. So I get the car back worse then it was when I brought it in. Then I have to bring it back so they can fix this and I get a flat tire, so I ahve them look at that and of course its $500 AND then later they say the rim was also cracked.... Another $500. Then I get it back and of course the radar detector still isnt working! Then I drive it 10 miles and the flat tire light comes back on. All very suspicious and overall the worst mechanic experience ever. Im not even brining it back to have them fix this radar detector that they broke, because I feel I will just have something else go wrong. I like to deal with car salespersons like you like to go to the dentist. But this time my purchasing experience was completely different. I worked with Bill Earnest and I've got the best customer service I' to the dentist. But this time my purchasing experience was completely different. I had a wonderful experience with the purchase of my new 2011 X5 at Bill Jacobs Naperville. The facility is outstanding and offers a professional atmosphere. The sales associate I worked with, Matthew Lax 2011 X5 at Bill Jacobs Naperville. The facility is outstanding and offers a professional atmosphere. The sales associate I worked with, Matthew Laxton, was patient in answering all my questions in a detailed manner. He knew the product well, was enthused about BMW, provided me with all the details of my purchase. I recommend this dealership. More

I was very impressed with my sales representative “Bill Earnest”. Very knowledgeable and attentive to my needs in a vehicle. I’m certain that his objective was to find the right “FIT” between my budget, ne Earnest”. Very knowledgeable and attentive to my needs in a vehicle. I’m certain that his objective was to find the right “FIT” between my budget, needs (I travel 30,000 miles per year), and monthly payment. At no point during the buying process did I feel any pressure or sales tactics. This is the only time I have ever given a recommendation to salesmen. I hope you take this entry/recommendation as seriously as I do. I will see Bill again in 2 years to buy another vehicle. M. Tirio More
My wife and I purchased a X5 2004 in 2006 as a used vehicle from Bill Jacobs. Let me just say the purchasing experience was not a good one. I told my wife that was my first and last time purchasing f vehicle from Bill Jacobs. Let me just say the purchasing experience was not a good one. I told my wife that was my first and last time purchasing from Bill Jacobs. We used cars.com, kelly bluebook and many other on-line tools to find a low mile 2010 X5. I called Bill Jacobs and asked for their best sales professional and Bill Earnest was told to be the person. Bill found us the vehicle that fit the bill for us. They were correct and Matt his manager was outstanding. This was a very good experience and I was very happy that my wife was satisfied.......after being married for 20 years that is the most important. Bill delivered on everything we needed......stunned us with the ability to get us the car within 1 hour with plates. We will be purchasing from Bill in the future. Outstanding service and pricing......I'm tough and they did a great job to turn our thoughts of them around. More

This allowed me to ponder exactly what accessories I wanted. The first day one rolled off the truck Bill notified me. Bill was very responsive to my needs as we moved from order, purchase, and delivery. He took the time to indoctrinate myself and my wife on the vehicle operation and capabilities. Bill was ALWAYS AVAILABLE through the entire process. If your looking for a hassle free purchase with respect and stellar treatment SEE BILL EARNEST. His name says it aLL !!!!! Terrible service, repair took 1 week. Communication was poor; no one was available to take my calls. I saw the vehicle I purchashed on-line. I negotiated a viable purchase price with the dealership and was able to make a cash purchase on a 2009 BMW with very low miles. The day I test drove the vehicle, viable purchase price with the dealership and was able to make a cash purchase on a 2009 BMW with very low miles. The day I test drove the vehicle, I wore jeans and a T-shirt, as I had been running errands that day. I had visited a couple of other dealerships [different makes] that same day and I believe because I was very casual I was not considered to be a serious customer. No one at the "other" dealerships" asked to assist me even though I was looking at the cars in the lot and inside the show room for at least 20 minutes. However, from the minute I stepped foot into Bill Jacobs, I was greeted at the door and treated like royalty. Bill Earnest was my salesperson, and his last name says it all...his professionalism and integrity made me feel very comfortable and trusting. I will highly recommend anyone wanting to purchase a BMW, go to Bill Jacobs...and also, ask for Bill Earnest! A New Customer, Veronda Harris More
