Problem with my slider door on my new Odessey Called and got in on the day and time of day I wanted. Did not have to wait for my car to get worked on. Thank you Bert I have known Bert for a great number of years and consider him a dear friend, although I've never purchased a vehicle from him. When the opportunity to purchase a Civic type R at MSRP came up, I was the first person he called, texted, emailed and probably even sent smoke signals. I have been driving Hondas for a long time, my first new car was a 1995 Civic EX w/ABS which I owned for almost 14 years. I traded it in for a 4 year old 2004 Civic Si, which I still have. He remembered me coming to him about the petition to bring the Civic type R to North America, which I gladly signed, I even went so far as to send a rather long email to Koichi Kondo himself, who at the time I think was the president of North American sales. Having know how much I wanted one, but being discouraged by the mark ups. He thought of me first, and I am very grateful. I am now the proud owner of #16598. And as indicated by my past history, I plan on enjoying it for a long time. There is a simple reason for Bert being awarded by Honda as a great salesman, it's not because he's good at selling cars. It's because he is a genuinely good person, he cares more about the customer than the sale and that is very easy to see. Again, Thank you Bert. Sincerely John Olson More
Routine maintenance Took my Civic in for an oil change. A few items were suggested for maintenance but was not pressured in any way. I will return to get these taken care of when I have more time. Sam was especially great at explaining everything they did and that needs to be done still. Very quick about a half an hour while I sat comfortably in the waiting area. Bert my salesman always greets me and offers a beverage. I will continue to take my car to Bill Kay for service in the future. More
