Decent Dealership, Decent Experience Purchasing a vehicle is a HUGE decision, and finding a decent dealership is always a struggle. Our experience with Bill Kolb, Jr. Subaru was a decent Purchasing a vehicle is a HUGE decision, and finding a decent dealership is always a struggle. Our experience with Bill Kolb, Jr. Subaru was a decent experience. We dealt with Howard, who is a straight forward salesperson. I have listed the pros and cons of dealing with this dealership so you can decide if it's something you want to pursue: Pros: 1) There are NO price negotiations on used vehicles and vehicles are sold as is 2) The staff are salaried employees (at least this is what we were told) - we are always willing to support companies with this mindset. 3) you get what you pay for - self explanatory. 4) the sales team here works very quickly to get vehicle in your possession (a bit too quick if that's even possible). Cons (These services would have bumped our experience ups to excellent): 1) There should be more material for customers to take home and review, listing all of the amenities and services Subaru offers for used and new car purchases/lease (this is not just specific to this dealership but more of an industry wide issue. Customers would gladly pay more for services they knew existed!). 2) Subaru should have a full service auto body & repair on premise that offers all services to new & existing customers with money back guaranty (interior detailing & car washes, paint touch ups, full body paint, dent repairs, exterior/interior parts replacements etc..). 3) Subaru should offer customers a pre-paid "Basic Maintenance" package for minor things such as oil changes, filter changes, fluid refill etc. (we would have gladly purchased package when we purchased our vehicle. There should be detailed, printed brochures for customers so they know exactly what services come with service package offered). **We will make more updates the longer we have our vehicle. More

He is friendly and understanding. Plus, he truly bent over backward to make sure our needs are met, both with cars as applicable to our lifestyle and family, and financially. He was efficient, knowledgeable, helpful, and he really made the process a pleasurable one rather than the stressful experience that car buying can often be. More

I've searched the internet for a year for a specific year and model. And I was convinced with this dealerahip due to the wide selection to choose from. So I called the dealership and sppke to Gary and upfront he told me that one of the cars i wanted to try was sold. So I chose another one and it was available. Set up an appointment and I went. I was pleased that up front, Gary explained how they work. They are very transparent. That build up my trust. And when I tried the car, that even sealed the deal even more. All the employees that i encountered were very helpful. When the time comes for another car, I would come back again. I would even recommend them to my friends and family. Just ask for Gary. Best auto dealer experience ever! My wife and I searched for a particular vehicle (color, features, etc.) and found what we were looking for on Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru's website. I calle My wife and I searched for a particular vehicle (color, features, etc.) and found what we were looking for on Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru's website. I called and was connected to Sonny Ripps. Sonny was very helpful, let me know the car was still available, and took my deposit to hold the vehicle via credit card. We made an appointment for 11am the next day to test drive the vehicle. When we arrived, Sonny made us feel welcome. The vehicle was perfect so we went through the financing process (super easy!) and signed all the paperwork. Joe Postighone, Sales Manager, oversaw the whole process and kept checking-in to make sure we were being taken care of and knew what the next step was. Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru handled the title and license and we'll receive license plates in the mail. I rarely have good things to say about a car dealer but this really was a rather pain-free, straight-forward experience. More
Great car buying experience! I had been searching online for Subarus, and there were quite a few local dealerships. Bill Kolb had the best prices and selection of used Subarus ar I had been searching online for Subarus, and there were quite a few local dealerships. Bill Kolb had the best prices and selection of used Subarus around. I was going to buy at the dealer in Middletown, but the prices were so much better I was considering driving twice the distance down to Bill Kolb. Then I discovered while looking at Bill Kolb online, they have salaried sales people, and are a "no haggle" dealer. That sealed it for me. When we arrived, Howard was quick to greet us and do some initial qualification. I was torn between a Legacy and a Crosstrek. We test drove both, and Howard had deep knowledge on all the cars. Pretty impressive - I've found that a lot of the recent car salesmen I've dealt with are not aware of all the features on the car. We figured out which car I liked the best, and Howard then laid out our options. I will say the no-haggle thing was excellent - the price on the car was lower still than other dealers, the financing options were great, and we moved ahead. Howard was an excellent sales consultant - listened to our needs, very personable, made sure we were taken care of. Paul in finance then gave us our options - very transparent through the entire process. When we came back for delivery, Juan did an excellent job going through the car and the features. This is definitely one of the best car buying experiences I've had in years. I would go back to Bill Kolb, and would recommend them to anyone. My only complaint about Bill Kolb Jr was the cramped quarters, both inside the dealership, and in the parking lot. The team did their best inside with the cramped space, and that's supposed to be expanded soon. But the people driving around in the parking lot need to take more care - service people, sales people moving cars around seemed to think it was a high-speed zone. As cramped as it was, I would have expected them to take a little more care. More
