Leasing our 2017 Subaru Outback Limited We drove from Floral Park Queens all the way to Bill Kolb, Jr. Subaru located in Orangeburg, NY. We were greeted by a very friendly salesperson, Howard Bonfield, who quickly showed us exactly what we had asked to see. We wanted a Pearl White Outback and were open to the extras. And that's exactly what we wound up with, and so much more. We found Howard to be both friendly and professional, extremely knowledgeable, charming and witty. The price was affordable for us (and it's true, there is no haggling) so we went ahead and signed the lease agreement. We traded in a 2010 Outback and were very happy with the amount we received for the trade-in. Howard then went over many things with us, extremely patient with all our questions, and proceeded to show us the basics and differences that our new car has as compared to the old one. It didn't end there. I called him this morning and he was still friendly "the day after the sale" as he was on the day of. Again, very helpful. Thank you Howard for our easy passage from the old to the new and for continuing to be there when we need help and beyond. More

I was just looking :) I wasn't going to buy a car today because I still had a month left on my lease. I stopped by Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru just to see if I would fit in an Imp I wasn't going to buy a car today because I still had a month left on my lease. I stopped by Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru just to see if I would fit in an Impreza sedan. I am 6' 3" so many small cars don't have sufficient headroom for me. When I entered the dealership, I met Howard and explained that I just wanted to see if I'd fit in the car. We walked out to the lot and found one with no moonroof and it was very comfortable. When Howard told me that the 2017 was on a redesigned platform and had a smoother, quieter ride than the older ones, I decided to test it out. He was not kidding. This was a completely different driving experience from my older Subarus. I decided right away that this was the car for me. But I still couldn't buy it today because I didn't have time to go to NJ and in my experience, the prices are lower there. I asked Howard to give me some numbers and it turns out that his price was lower than online estimates I had received from other local dealers and lower than my target price to negotiate. This no-haggle stuff really works well when their price is already better than the price I was going to try to haggle. I decided to buy the car on the spot. I had my Forrester with me and Howard offered to handle all the turn-in stuff for me. It was completely painless. The lease paperwork was done quickly and the DMV paperwork was done before I knew it had been started. Howard and the rest of the team at Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru took very good care of me and I expect they will the same care of everyone I plan to send their way. More
